| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- We finally get some insight into how Yukio came to be at the point Rin met him earlier on, with Shima and Kaneko also reconnecting. I find it believable that Yukio wasn't that kind of bad guy after all, I only find it a little sad that this will seemingly end in a stereotypical emotionally dramatic physical beatdown etc. I think it would've been more interesting if Rin tried to approach him in different way. One thing Yukio said about how there's no place left for him to return really does make me curious as to what will happen to his character in the end even if the Illuminati are destroyed. The corruption of the True Cross is something not easily disposed of, and his seeming innocence is something not easily believed |
