For those Furuba fans that finished the manga, I found a strong connection between the order of who gets freed from the curse, and Akito’s personal preferences. If you take a closer look at who Akito is last to free from the manga, Akito intentionally saved her favorite members for last. She freed the ones she hated the most first.
