Is this any good? Is it similiar to the game or completely different? (In terms of plot, events, quality etc..)

Well the manga has better visuals and a more easily accessed format but the game has the benefit of expanded information and alternate endings. Honestly I'd say they are both good it just depends on what you want out of it. Also the game costs money so that's a big factor lol.

Both cost you money actually. You're saying as if reading manga from illegal sites is different than pirating video games.

OT: Didn't read the entirety of the manga, but I'd say it's pretty faithful to the game so far. Though I don't really like reading manga so I'd prefer the game without question.

The manga follows the same general story as the game, but puts on a different spin to some events in terms of adding a couple of original spirits, altering a few events and having a major plot element not in any of the games. It also leads to having an ending from the game you wouldn't have expected. It's pretty interesting since you could consider it an alternate universe story. The chapters are quite lengthy, so you'll get your mileage with the time.

The game offers freedom of choice. There's a ton of alternate bad endings based on your decisions and quick-time thinking. It's a bit more open in that regard, giving you a broader experience with the story. The manga is set in stone and always follows the same path. The manga would take less time to complete, since you'll want to unlock the other endings and collect the ID tags in the game. It all depends on how you want to experience the story. I wouldn't know if I could call one better than the other, since there are, albeit minor, variations found between both. The manga portrays Heavenly Host in the right way, so it's pretty atmospheric.
Doing nothing of importance.

Honestly I don't really like games that much. I like just watching/reading things because I don't have to worry about 'not doing it as intended'. Like when I play games I'm always paranoid about missing things and not receiving all the information I should, whereas with anime/manga I know I'm getting everything. Hopefully that makes sense. The game still looks interesting to me though so I might watch a walkthrough of it or something. Thank you for the response ^^

That is true I didn't really consider that. I don't know why I assumed someone would pirate a manga but then not the game.
