If I don't enjoy josei shows?

I enjoy seinen, and I'm wondering if this anime is targeted towards adult female public or the genre doesn't tell that much of the show.

I'm male, I watched it, and it was pretty damn good. Ignore the Josei tag and just watch it. You've seen the Monogatari series, so perhaps you might find this just as appealing if you're into storytelling. If you like stories, you're going to get sucked in really quickly. And of course, since it's about stories, expect very heavy dialogue...

It's a damn fine story, totally worth a watch, not sure why it's Josei but it has an 8.6 rating and a second season and that should be enough reason to watch it
