| Why people voted before watching at least one episode? I know both manga nad classic 1997 are very popular, but still, to rate newest anime 8-10 just because manga/1997 anime were good? |

| Because any anime that doesn't follow a manga perfectly is shit apparently..it being CGI sent it to the grave. I don't think it deserves top given what was shown at this point but it certainly doesn't deserve a 1 out 10 either That said I never expected it to follow the manga which is the same expectations I set for most animes so I'm not as appalled and disappointed as most even if I love the manga I don't mind if it doesn't follow the manga to the tee, I have the manga for that as long as it sparks interest for people who don't know berserk yet then I think it's fine it could be better but it's fine. Well it could go tokyo ghoul route when the anime aired with everyone yelling in your face that the manga is better (which it is) then more people would be curious and read the manga which is always good. |

| the new series is catching a lot of hate but its not that bad. it a lot of people who cant handle the CG... sorry they didnt make it pretty for you guys and are focusing on quality VO work, etc. lol its not that bad of an adaption either. its been a long time since i read chapters so early in the story but im pretty sure thats exactly how that part of the manga went. hey if they want a 100% adaption... they should just stick with the manga. creative license gets no respect lol as for the CG i think it lends a lot to the grittiness that is berserk. |
