Rance = Terrible waste of time

The same studio that made koikishi and ane really made a hot mess with this one. Horrible plot, the main character is a total asshat jackass who rapes, the girls look like kids, humor is out of place in the wrong time and god I hate how it tries to tie everything from serious to humor to sex and brushes off all that and character development just for this lameass goofy faggot to have sex and become his slave basically.

No integerity in this hentai, its hero is so unlikeable and obnoxious because he's a self aware parody gary stu in a world that tries to be multi layered and sophisticated in its adventure niche. But alas, he callously disregards everything(plot conventions and personal development) for sex and arrogant satisfaction, it isn't even true hentai at its core, its a parody of it and it's inconsistent in forcing us to admire a pervert so immoral and obnoxious it takes no build up trying to become consistent or straight to point in being hentai, adding trival comedy and pointless backstories to girls we will never see again.

Its trying to be a piss poor comedy senin with hentai as a bonus instead of just plain hentai with a unique anime theme as a bonus. And it fails. I know rance is popular in japan but i feel its concept doesn't translate to animated format due how needless the pacing issues are and its storyline themes that are boring to expand instead of getting to the point of the theme it is about.

Rance is an abomination to the genre and a waste of pure creativity of the hentai genre, it's gratuitously offensive as a power fantasy and a harem title, its hero is by all means a despicable and nerdy escapist concept for women abuse and rape, the characters just serve only for the hero as infriority to him instead of their own individual development, its humor is by all means the lowest form of juvenile sexism, and the sex scenes are awkward porn since its a guy raping girls and treating them like disposables prostitutes with zero sexual build up and forced intimate lust which is not that appealing.

The plot sucks because it has one side character as rance's main cast. And she's the one who rance abuses the most. And seeing that the story is about saving a princess who no wonder is gonna join the main characters slut toilet harem, it's not that interestingly good. Its like i said doesn't take itself seriously and does outlandish humor instead of subtle instances where hentai comes first but it be funny about it, no rance adds deadpoolesqe shit(which i hate personally) of raunchy and tries to imitate gag anime that parodies straight laced anime conventions and ends up not faithful to its own which is hentai.

Plus on that no male character in the hentai series is allowed to be as good as Rance in anything not even humor or being better with women what is up with that, when a escapist protagonist has to be the center alpha male and the most important in getting his desires thats just a unbearably selfish act of unwarranted self importance and anti social impotence. Its played for laughs but it's just a lighthearted attempt at being a complete autistic douchebag with a ego.

So to end this, theres a much better concept of this show and better animation imo, it is called 3ping and boy does it does everything right rance does wrong, and of course this all my opinion but i just can't fathom how much this series is well liked even by anime standards and highly recommend other titles in contrast so people can fap without being forced to laugh and be cool but I digress bottom line the rance series sucks and implore people to turn their attention to something else.
