Based on the one chapter released of the manga it kinda reminds me of a more harem, slightly less ecchi "To-Love-ru"

Loved the first chapter of the manga. Has a very similar feel as To Love-Ru, which I love, so I can't wait for this to come out.

I hate how the mangaka is just recycling characters right out of his older series.

Like look at this page..

His just reused Mikan right off..

Its annoying but I'll get used to it.
Like how I always saw Yami in To-Love-Ru and remembers the girl in Black Cat

'Looking forward' is a bit too much, but I guess I'll give it a try.

They are cameos, small roles that have nothing to do with the storyline. Many shows, not just animes have them.

Most of the time they are used as a different type of "Fan Service". For example the manga "Hayate no Gotoku" has cameos from Leouch to Hatsune Miku (Virtual pop idol) to a phrase from Toradora!...

The manga is just an adaptation, like the anime. The original one is a light novel, and the anime is adapting that, and not the manga. Btw, from the raw of the first episode, it's just your generic harem-ecchi.

That's what people said about "Toradora" but they were wrong, you can't judge an entire series by one episode alone, you need to watch at least three. (In my opinion that is...)

I might try it because of the same character design of To Love Ru :3
But I think I'm gonna try the manga instead.

The manga has very few chapters released but it should give you a decent idea of the overall tone of the show. If you want any significant plot you would have to try the light novels none of which have been translated.

Personally, I rather like what I've read/watched. To love ru's clean and attractive character designs + a more serious feel while still maintaining a good amount of humor. The jokes are arguably better well-written as well.

What sealed the deal for me were four main things

* Takumi, unlike many harem leads, isn't too dumb to live and or too insensitive to the point that it's painful to watch.

* There's a good deal of depth to each character, something rather rare and attractive for a harem series.

* The fact that x likes y is established and NOTICED by the RELEVANT PARTY rather early on (in the manga at least). This in itself is a breakthrough...

* Drama and angst are present just enough to add a bit of spice without utterly dominating the plot, furthermore when it is used it isn't dragged out for 5 volumes...

On a bit of a tangent, "Stray Cats Overrun" is too literal of a translation "Overrun (by) Stray Cats" is more coherent and makes more sense given the plot ^.^.

No, in my own opinion the current "Stray Cats Overrun" is better because the bakery is called "Stray Cats" and it is being "over run" so for once the literal translation is better. The "Stray cats" is referring to a place not a plural thing (I do not know a lot of japanese, only basic words such as baka, arigato, itterashai and so on...)
