Which anime, truly compelled you to keep watching? Or something that made you desperate for the next episode? That made you marathon?

For me it was Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood,
norogami, especially the 2nd season
fate stay night unlimited blade works,
hunter x hunter, mainly the arcs with kurapika and the phantom troupe and killua and his family.

In terms of addictive factor, it definitely has to be Chihayafuru for me. 50 episodes in 5 days.

At first it was High School DXD when I just started to realize what Anime was. Once I got hooked I'D say Code Geass and Guilty Crown along with akame ga kill

Stein's Gate was really additive, especially the second half. Fate/Zero, Madoka Magica, and FMA: B would also be up there, and the show I probably binged the most would have to be Hunter x Hunter. Especially with certain arcs, it was practically impossible to stop watching.

It is humanly impossible to watch a handful of episodes, and then take a break, once you start, you're overcome by this uncontrollable urge to keep watching.

and

Hanasakeru Seishounen

That's an odd one, because you really wouldn't expect it to be that way(the setting is so bad), and before rewatching it, I always tell myself, I'm probally remember it being better then it was, I'm going to take it slower, and only watch a few episodes at a time. However when I start watching, that doesn't end up being the case. 1st I get reminded how great the anime is, then before I notice, I watched basically the entire series straight through.
