Battle couples in anime/manga?

So I'm looking for an anime/manga where the main characters are a guy and a girl who fight together, or even of they don't particularly fight together I'd like both of them to have combat ability. They don't necessarily have to be together, but they should have a strong bond, romantic or otherwise. And they should get along fairly well. It can be any genre or demographic.
Something like Hoshi no Samidare, where the 2 care greatly about each other.

Also, please none with any 'majorly tsundere and/or specifically violent towards the male MC' characters. I hate those kinds of characters with a passion.

Sooo, any recs?

I'd say Berserk, even if Casca is 100% tsundere (but she's an excellent character so who cares?).

It's quite fucked up, if you want an anime with a light tone you should probably pass on this one.

Already read the manga a few months ago; waiting for the next chapters to come out. The anime really only covered one arc in the manga.
