| The special refugee tax could help resettle maybe up to 100,000 to 500,000 refugees per year and help fund their resettlement and living expenses until they get back on their feet. It would probably pay for housing, living expenses, education, etc. There are many refugees around the world that developed countries need to help and should help. Most of us who live in wealthy countries with vast lands. We don't want to see any more children dying so this is our part to help the weakest in society. Thoughts? |
| Personally, I'd rather support a tax that would help get the needy of our own country(s) back on their feet before we start worrying about someone else's needy. |
