| Hi i'm reaalllyy new to watching anime. (I think). So i don't have THAT much anime experience so I might not be anime old enough to know what i'm talking about But as the title says is it me or was episode one amazing? Like up to the point that it shows that the anime could potentially be a 9? This might be opinionated but I really think that the show hasn't been doing as well as ep 1. I don't know if a lot of animes are like this but do most new/recent shows blow their load on the pilot episode so viewers will just watch it? They had good character development in the first episode and all and the ending itself was one of the saddest moments i've ever experienced in anime but ever since that episode I haven't really felt...an emotion...from this anime. Is this type of stuff common? |

| Episode 1 wasn't amazing by any means. It was decent, but not amazing. For me, it was a 7 at best at episode 1. It's not the characters, but rather the story itself that has been weak. Too many utterly stupid flaws that could be fixed by a very simple little programing and what not. Is this common? As in having an amazing/good first few episodes and then falling face-first into the ground afterwards? Very much so. This isn't the first and it's not going to be the last. |
