Before proceeding, know that this thread contains major spoilers from Strike the Blood's light novel version.
Do not proceed under any means if you do not want to be spoiled regarding the romantic part of the story that surrounds the main character, Kojou Akatsuki! It is highly advised that you are up-to-date with the light novel before checking what's under the spoiler tags, but the choice is entirely yours.
This thread in specific focuses on what happened to Kojou's relationship with the rest of the cast between the age of 16 and 36.
As everyone that has completed the anime is probably aware, Reina Akatsuki is Kojou's and Yukina Himeragi's daughter. And yes, Yukina is Kojou's wife. But that's not where it ends! After seeing the final episode of the Strike the Blood anime, I got interested in knowing who that other girl that has transported Reina 20 years in the past was. So I've gone straight to the source.
Judging by the looks and what she does, I naturally assumed she is Asagi Aiba's daughter. But who is the father? Heck, it turns out pretty smooth. It turns out that her full name is Moegi Akatsuki, and she is Kojou's and Asagi's daughter.
Kojou. You damn player. I mean, I adore his logic of why pick one or another, when you can have both, right? And yes, Asagi Aiba is Kojou's wife as well, so neither Reina nor Moegi are illegitimate children. Talk about an awesome turn of events.
As seen from the final episode of the Strike the Blood anime, there is a location called the "Empire of the Dawn". To be short on what that is, it is basically Itogami Island expanded even further and ruled by Kojou Akatsuki. Akatsuki means Dawn, hence the name Empire of the Dawn. It's his own empire, and if he can rule over a territory that consist of 4 million people (Itogami Island's population was a bit over half a million), as well as the territory becoming its own state, I think he can have as much wives and stuff he wants. Badass.
I do not believe anything was said on the matter of Sayaka Kirasaka and her relationship with Kojou, so that's too bad for those who shipped the two together. I know I sure did for a while, since she has that awesome style. But nothing's lost yet, as far as I know. Maybe his realized harem is actually bigger than we know for now.
Within this thread, you can discuss anything on the matter of Kojou's relationship through the story, whether in anime, manga or light novel, even though the light novel discussion on the matter would be most appreciated. Do you like the fact that Kojou got together with both Yukia and Asagi? I know I sure do, as it's the type of progression and usually ending that I prefer, even though it happens relatively rarely.
Oh i definitely gave this a 9/10 after i watched the last episode. There aren't a lot of harems that actually let the MC end up with more than 1 person so as much as i was surprised, that's a win in my book
Well based on the whole future arc.He becomes king of that island. So harems are inevitable. It was always that way in every culture, you had a wife who was the queen and then you have a harem.Of course the harem is usually never public knowledge. These primogenitors are suppose to have a harem. The other primogenitor on the show had a harem also. They have to take blood from more than one person.
I honestly don't like the fact he got with both of them, I don't know it just seems a little too far. I mean I know harem is like this but no ones actually dating the main character or more so married to him and it just makes me a little salty knowing he's a bastard who can't just love one girl. Worse the fact that they actually let him have both of them. Idk maybe I'm just being dumb. Well now I'm now not watching second season, dropped.
I was surpriseing when I knew that he just get both of them just !!! What about the other girls ?! I was thinking that he will get a harem, all of the girls that he took the blood from them not just two girls ?
This is the kind of ending for harem series that I like the best. After all, Strike the Blood is a story of maximum wish-fulfillment, so having a harem (and actually getting it recognized by law) is the right way to do it.
