When should I watch the movie?

I just wanna know if the first movie follows a chronological order with main series.

Is it just a filler? Should I watch it after or before finishing the main series?

The first movie takes place between episodes 35 and 36 of the anime.

The movie itself doesn't really pertain to the continuity of the anime, meaning you could watch it after you finish the series, so long as you're remember at what point Sakura's experience is set at.

You're not gonna be left in the dark watching the anime because you didn't watch the movie.
