| Well the anime is based on an light novel, so it's not a surprise that the anime was a bit limited in development. For what they did with it, it didn't seem like a terrible adaptation. Granted, I haven't read the source material. |

| Will the anime continue? No. Log Horizon sold more than it and got two seasons. I highly doubt they will pick Maoyu back unless LH2 ends up extremely popular. What did you guys think? It delivered what it proposed, and I was overjoyed by it. Sure, the animu version made the "plot" mentioned above too OP, but this doesn't discredit the hole story neither characters. Characters, worth mention, are really likeable, and I mean the entire cast. Something difficult to find in this kind of fighting/adventure series. From the start you should know you wouldn't get the dept from S&W, so, if you started watching it expecting a nice economics animu with a fantasy setting -and the two VA we came to love-... I fail to see how you can possibly be disappointed by it. It had a bunch of clichés, but dealt with them in a funny way so I'm fine with it. Animu: 7~8/10, LN: 9/10 (the artwork for the novels is simply GORGEOUS) |
