When I saw that G rating, I expected a nice uplifting adventure story. What do I get 5 minutes into the show... a decapitation! That was really just the tip of the iceberg. It was 2 hours of dark and intense scenes. There's human trafficking, child abuse, animal slaughter, and violent deaths. This is at least a PG13. There's arguments to be made for making it an R even.

I liked the film, but just warning everyone not to go showing it on family movie night.
