no there is no male character
became this show is for girl
the show not Romance maybe

but ( there is no male character)
all the character girl

i think the show is no going to be good if there male character
and the anime be harem that well be a bad show if there is harem

i kind hate if there cute girl character and there a male and the tag
of the anime is harem ill hate the show

but that good because there is no male or harem
in the anime :3

i like the show that way :)

No I've seen guys walking around in the backgrounds but they might as well not exist.

Yes, it is very easy to watch this show with the misconception that this is an all-
girl's school. It is not. The number of boys appearing on screen is equal to the
number of girls who appear. As far I have noticed, the boys never say anything
and they never do anything. It is a great concept.

However, if you look really, really closely at the boys' pants, you can see that
they all have CENSORED. I was exactly the same way throughout my junior high
school years and it was really uncomfortable. They say it can be dangerous if it
goes on continuously for more than four hours.

While sitting in class, instead of listening to the teacher, I would look around the
classroom and play "GIRL FRIEND BETA" in my head. As a matter of fact, the
number of girls in my grade in my high school was just about equal to the
official number of girls in the game, i.e. 100+.

There isn't any reason to have Male lead, as the avatar you have in the game doesn't have a personality, it's just a blank avatar and nothing else. (Just like in Pokémon)

I'm happy this isn't a harem. However, as a fan of the original mobile game (yes, I play it even though I'm a girl myself.) I'm greatly disappointed on visuals. That's what keeps me interested to play the game, great seiyuus and the art of the cards looks absolutely gorgeous, but this anime looks like your typical low-budget-moe.

I hope Chloe (my absolutely fav, along with many others) gets more screen time~ Also, Kinoko has been in the background so far, I hope she gets an episode of her own. Would gladly see Moeka, Maya, Yuki and Rei as well for example.

Of course, it's nice to see them moving and speaking around, but the anime doesn't look that pretty. I personally prefer the original mobage over this adaptation. It's just half-heartedly made extra for already existing fans, and in that, not very good one. But acceptable I guess.

I was also kinda disappointed that the boys you can see in the background weren't boys from BF Beta. That would have been a funny crossover for the brother game.
