SO that's it guys, my prediction is wrong, they did change from brother-sister to husband-wife, a bitter and sweet ending honestly, but Kashima and Sawada will be a good couple, and it's for the best, well if you are non blood related brother or sister and you are in love admitted it and go for marriage..

Well this series met the end 2 decades ago, but it's a great story..and i'm enjoying this series till the end, i'll see you again in another series..

I have seen this ending coming directly from the beginning and hoped all the time that it doesnt come true, because i liked friend miyuki. Nothing against sister miyuki, but i feel sorry for the friend miyuki.
Though the ending was well made, so i guess i can accept it.

All in all a little to less happening, but enjoyable and nice reading. Was a fun manga

I'm mixed about this manga, I really am. On one hand, it started out fun, started out great - had a good sense of humor - but.... it's definitely dated. I guess it was common for middle aged husbands(a police officer, nonetheless) to pursue a highschool girl; stalking her, even. And HS coach's to also pursue one of his own students back in 1980's Japan.

In reality, it's not only creepy but it's just plain gross. And the fact that Wakamatsu and sister Miyuki ended up together after all, with girlfriend Miyuki ending up with the leftovers(aka bland pretty boy) was nothing but a cop out. This manga lasted a good 20-25 chapters longer then it really needed to be.

I don't exactly regret reading it since it was still a nice, retro rom-com. But it was so disappointing at the same time.

I feel so stupid I did not see that ending coming.
Oh well, this shows Adachi-sensei was decades ahead of the light-novel industry.

Actually it was very common for older guys to pursue high school girls even today. Japan passed laws because of that whole compensated dating that exploded in the 80s,90s.
It was pretty obvious they were going to end up together. A lot of old animes were pretty straightforward with just some other people on the side to create faux conflict. Kind of like the harem today.

This story is good, but you need to take it not too seriously, I mean, the HS PE teacher, the perverted cop, the popular guy of class and even Ryuuichi are exagerated stereotypes, so we can't ask a serious development with them.

About the main love triangle (love square at the end), Miyuki (friend) was a nice girl, but when she decided give up from university first time, I thought it was settled she would lose. I mean, that girl was doing an huge effort while Masato was wavering all the time and didn't deserve that devotion.

I liked the way Adachi developed the main's couple love story. Some moments were very touching and in the end the love declaration was really beautiful. I just missed an "I love you too" from Miyuki, but anyway, they are married in the end.

One thing I disliked in this ending was the forced potential beta couple in penultimate page, but anyway, Adachi is not afraid of use a lot of cliches and even so do a great manga with content above average, humor, romance, interesting protagonist's personalities and a really enjoyable read.

What a shitty way to execute the romance. Insert a new guy without development then force the romance.

I felt bad for the other Miyuki, she sacrificed a lot for Masato. Masato didn't deserve her. Fvcking 4 years, she dated a guy that doesn't really like him. The only reason why Masato started to "like" her because of what he heard in chapter 1, while he's in the closet.

The imouto Miyuki's harem was ridiculous, all of them were annoying.

I was rooting for the siblings, but the development was really bad. The pattern of romance was similar to Cross Game. The author doesnt have talent to write a romance imo.
