Donnie Darko has been my favorite movie for years. I remember watching it with friends all the way back in 7th grade, and I've known it long before that.I haven't really watched any new movies in quite some time. |

So the Scream tv series is looking pretty good. Thought it might be a bit meh because it's mtv but the first ep was much better than I expected. |

I still think a video game movie can be good, though, CowboySam. I would have preferred Crisis Core to be a movie than a game, the game felt like an addition to it. The storyline was really moving, and all of the characters were great.Also, I'm curious how things would turn about if there were a Shadow of the Colossus movie. I could see that happening in the future if somebody has a big budget and wants something that would look cool. |

I think Game Theory had a point when he said that when you adapt a video game into a movie, you're taking something away than adding something. When you adapt a book or even comic book, you're taking something that before you could only use your imagination for but can see it in full motion with voices and everything. Video Games can already do everything Movies can and more by having you interact with it. That still doesn't excuse the lack of effort with films like Silent Hill and Max Payne (Especially MP. The game was already influenced by film genres such Hong Kong action films and Film Noir, it should've been better that that disaster)Oh by the way I'm now a member of this club. Hello |

Too bad a good video game adaptation can't exist. All they need to do is make Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core a movie. Instead we got whatever the hell Advent Children was supposed to be. Blech.Though I do enjoy Mortal Kombat once in a while, I guess. |

I never watched Silent Hill, I had heard it was pretty bad. Which is weird. I usually watch adaptations of stuff I know even if they're bad. |
