Weekly 05 Update Complete.As expected Tadaima, Okaeri loses an earlier high score and drops a bit on score change allowing Karasu Aruji which has been on a roll for several weeks now to take a big lead at the top. Yoru no Kurage was the next show to actually improve on its 3 week score change. The MSP table is beginning to take shape with several shows still holding their perfect MSPs for now, Shuumatsu Train is still top but a plethora of shows are closely behind ready to capitalize on any slip ups. My Hero Academia has finally started but only starts with a mid table score leaving Hibike Euphonium still on top, the table remains largely unchanged in terms of rankings, Kaijuu 8-gou the only show to improve on it, it and Yoru no Kurage remain the highest rated non sequel shows of the season. Its now 3 Weekly awards in a row for Karasu Aruji as it clinches it again, but this time it shares it with Girls Band Cry. |

Week 04 Update Complete.Same as last week, Karasu Aruji was the biggest mover and our anime of the week, outdoing its previous week's exploits and rising all to way to 2nd on score change. Tadaima Okaeri was able to keep top spot although it has slowed considerably. It was good weeks as well for Girls Band Cry, Loser Rangers and Shuumatsu Train. The same shows are more or less top of MSP score as well along with Hibike Euphonium and Maou Dore Elf. Unfortunately, Slime Datta Ken, Spice and Wolf and Mushouku Tensei find themselves in the bottom half of these lists. MAL score table generally looks the same. |

Week 03 Update Complete.Tadaima, Okaeri retains that healthy top spot lead with the likes of Shuumatsu Train and Girls band Cry closely behind. Karasu Aruji was the biggest mover of the week and takes the weekly award. Big hitters like Slime Datta Ken, Mushouku Tensei and Spice and Wolf still finding their feet, no such issues for Hibike Euphonium though. |

Week 02 Update CompleteTadaima, Okaeri was the biggest mover this week and subsequently our anime of the week, several shows also trended heavily upwards as is common for the earlier parts of the season. Shuumatsu Train with 2 out of 2 for MSP score. Our top MAL score is still low with Hibike Euphonium at just 8.59 but with 2 of the most popular shows this season still yet to air, that could change soon. All normal towards the bottom as well except for the new Spice and Wolf which has unexpectedly started with 2 drops. |

A few important announcements as regards to how the data will be recorded and disseminated onwards:1. We're going to use weekly updates for the forseeable future, rather than rushing daily updates. 2. What going weekly will allow us to do that we're excited to try is to go episode blind in regards to how we record shows in the thread, instead we're going to be tracking anime data in time (weeks). You'll notice the first week in the data thread has been recorded as week '00' instead of '01' with several shows having their first or first couple episodes 'n/a' as their score, which is what MAL has recorded, so this allows us to be more uniform with MAL. At the end of the season every show will have the same number of weeks regardless of ep count, since they all aired within the same span of time. This means the data is going to be blind to double episodes, weekly breaks and other unexpected schedule changes that might affect a show's usual airing schedule but will hopefully give a clearer picture of the season as a whole. We hope you like this slight tweak to the format, feel free to give your thoughts on it. Weekly Update Complete.First set of shows concluding with Frieren now more than comfortably the top dog of all anime after a huge boost despite the already massive score. @Zee530 If it is helpful I can provide some info about this season. I also have a data set about the Fal season, while it is a bit more simplistic then @Simenloty spreadsheets (I didn't break down it so much) but it have a bit of additional data about ranking/placement and anime's lightnovel/manga sources. I didn't make a docs out of it yet but I will at some time. I didn't know what your method of confirming the infos are but if it is helpful I can confirm @Simenloty scores about the seasonal animes with my data set (the two being independed of each other should be helpful) |
