I like the fact, that this kind of music is selfmade with the own hands and no produced music, which is calculated ;)

the atmosphere, the emotions, the honesty, really it depends on the song

that! With metal I can push myself into a desired emotion. Need a quick fix and new energy? Just load powermetal and hit random.
Tension building up in you and you need to realease some steam¿ -> growl will do!

Hard to describe, Metal makes me feel "in check", balanced and emotionally stable - overall just happy and peacefully.

Can´t pinpoint a specific genre. For me, metal is like a drug -> and I abuse it.
At some point I don´t get my fix outto my libary and start looking for new, stronger harder metal.
I still enjoy my favorite bands, but the kick is not the same...

Well, there is no lack in stronger and harder metal. One might think I hit a barrier with growl or black death metal, but no...there is always more.

My latest addition is 'slammin triple brutal black death metal´ kinda sounds like this - give it (exactly) a minute and you notice the slammin part. Besides that it just got a fancy name ;)

Next thing on my list is philosophical (death) metal. Name is promising, will give it a try.

OS black, atmo black, dsbm, folk (or atmo folk), gothic. Pure death, but I need to listen to more than playing bolt thrower on repeat...

But really i like some of most genres. except alt and symph black. i dont like prog/power either apart from a few songs of each. and a bunch of silly genres like trance metal i dont really care for even i think it could be done well

my old local scene (recently moved) was just leftist punk stuff or hip hop really, there wasnt anyhting interesting i found at least

There are the ones who like to do the cutting themself, and then there are...the others...

I can´t speak for the dead, but I think some might be around and lurking in the shadows. Just gotta throw them a bone, and they will come back to live(or so)

Mikochondria | Sep 13, 2017 7:24 AM

@Dustbreath
Now you've got one request.

unfortunately there are so many inactive user in the clubs. So you join a club with 1000 members and you are the one and only active person who write something.

@ all
Is someone else alive :D ? HALLO?

Dustbreath | Sep 12, 2017 10:14 PM
@Morv
And I just walked into said ghostown!

Old me recently joined MAL, due to lack of memory capacity. Though clubs are the place to meet cool people and nice gals, not thoose pesky forums!

And now Iam here, and my profile tells me I am a lonely person with 0 friends - figured there would be a dark corner here for me.

Morv | Sep 12, 2017 4:50 PM
