who do you guys think will die in the 7th book?

Chelle | Apr 27, 2007 8:30 PM
Hahaha K... lots of lil' secrets that a lot of people don't know about me... muahahaha ;-) And yes... I'm a huge HP geek =P and I have KawaiiNinja (who is my daughter, btw) to thank for it.

I didn't know you are an HP fan, Chelle!

Like 2 months to go for #7. Just amazes me that she will be able to fit it all within a single book. #6 uncovered so much that it could have gone on for 2 or 3 more--easily.

Wow you guys (off topic)... this club isn't even 24 hours old... and we have almost 30 members already...
T_T I'm soooo happy... ^_^ More stories... more stories... I love to listen/read other people's HP stories/obsessions... O_o ^_^

I got book 3 for christmas, had no idea what it was at that time (some idiot in the bookshop told my uncle it was the first one) i read that one and then the 2 first ones, not too much got spoiled really, although some stuff were odd and unexplained =)

Loved it =) had to get english edition of book 4 when i was done with the others =)

I was given the first book as a Christmas present. It took me awhile to get around to read it though. Because there was so much press around the book, I kinda just never got around to it. (It seemed like a real kiddie book at the time.) evenutally I got bored and read it. Needless to say when the 2nd book came out I was all over it...from there I watched the movies and etc.

Ditto - I don't read books often anymore, even though I enjoy reading, but when I do get into a book I'm usually finished in a day. Two, tops.

In my case it was the mother of my best friend that recommended it too me, since I'm a fan of fantasy/Sci-Fi novels and such. She let me borrow the first 4 books (5th hadn't yet come out). I think I was about 16 at a time... hm can't be sure.
Anyway I read them all 4 in less than a week... I tend to devour books if I like them lol.

I started reading Harry Potter when i was 10 or 11. I saw Book 1 at the Post Office for a very cheap price.

Hmmm... I'd love to know how everyone "discovered" Harry Potter. Like anime, I have my children to thank. The twins were reading the books in class at school, and the first movie was about to be released. KawaiiNinja begged and pleaded until I agreed to take her and her sister to see the movie at the theatres.(For Ceray, Fate, and Kana... I took them to see it @ The Orleans). I was blown away by the first movie. Blown away!! That weekend, I went to the public library and picked up the first book (because everyone knows the books are better than the movies). Again, I was blown away. Within 1-1/2 weeks, I had all 4 books that had been released to that point finished... and anxiously awaiting the release of "The Order of the Phoenix"... the rest... is my own Harry Potter obsessed geekdom...

Agreed there. The books are way better. If I may say, I was the one that got momma into Harry Potter ^^

BlueYoshi | Apr 27, 2007 3:46 AM
Thanks for inviting me here Furuba Fan.

At first, a few years ago, i was skeptical of Harry Potter. What was the big deal with these books. After buying Sorcerer's Stone, i can see why.

Fav book would be GoF, with OotP in second. Movies...i like them, but the books are way better. The 4th movie kinda made me disappointed.

Can't wait for the last book and new movie.
