Better than nothing. This type of manga normally won't sell in the US. A digital release means eventually we could get new chapters on the same day as Japan.

Apparently Yen Press have licensed Saki

Digital release only though?

>Saki having a hard time at Kyouko (Kyouko get's good scores again)
>Nelly Virsaladze will own everyone!
>Usuzan flashback
>Shishihara will catch up at their score
>Saki owns everyone by Rinshan Kaihou

>Kiyosumi and Rinkai goes to the finals

I bet this kind of thing will happen again just like in the 2nd round.

improved kyouko is already giving saki a hard time o_o, which makes me wonder, does that mean kyouko could put up a fight against koromo? who freaking knocked out schools repeatedly in last years inter high? regardless, feel so hyped, but the wait is killing me....

Alycen | Jun 4, 2015 10:04 AM
The pace is killing me, I haven't read the manga for over a year and i'll probably wait for it to get a lot more chapter before I catch up :x.

We now can see Saki in action again it would be a tough Captain match.
improved Suehara Kyoko + monster class Nelly Virsaladze + I don't know about Shishihara but they said that she is beyond interhigh level

In case anyone of you don't know, Saki and Nodoka make it to Japan Saimoe 2014 final and the result is a tie. Yes,that's right, both Saki and Nodoka won the Saimoe 2014. First ever tie in Saimoe history.

Needless to say, Saki +/- 0 is at work here.

Nonon_Jakuzure | Apr 12, 2014 10:07 PM
Hi guys. Tbh I've only seen the first three episodes of Saki, but I really wanted to get back into it shortly and hopefully become a fan. Does it get good?

AzureHakua | Apr 12, 2014 10:02 PM
You have to consider the fact that Saki grew stronger after her facing Fujita. Also, Saki's mentality at that time still wasn't really focused on winning. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure they noted that Koromo was fighting against Fujita against a full moon, which makes Koromo stronger. Lastly, like every game, you win some, you lose some. Just because Fujita lost to Koromo, doesn't mean it happens consistently. Likewise, Koromo and Saki only faced each other once seriously, so you can't objectively say that Saki is always gonna beat her.

koromoamae | Apr 12, 2014 8:58 PM
Yes I was talk about her which is stupid to think saki won when face me and lost to that pro

Zapredon | Apr 12, 2014 8:55 PM
Which pro are you talking about? Fujita pro when Saki and Nodoka face her in season 1? Anime viewer only here, didn't read the manga.

koromoamae | Apr 12, 2014 7:32 AM
I don't think that was luck she is gift with that stronger mahjong skill but I think the girl that made saki dose not like Me cause I don't show up that mush

Hakua | Apr 12, 2014 5:26 AM
Food for thought. Koromo got lucky against the pro. And how2english.

koromoamae | Apr 11, 2014 4:46 PM
what I mean is both Mahjong and chess you have to use your brain its a Strategy game that what I mean there might be little luck to play mahjong but its more skill then anything and what I find stupid about was saki lost when face that pro but Koromo beat the pro and lost to saki that was very stupid cause one Pro was very saki like Koromo and there is no way if get more skill with that train Camp

kuuderes_shadow | Apr 11, 2014 2:06 PM
Mahjong isn't like chess. Chess every game starts from exactly the same position. There's no variety, at least not in the truest sense. With mahjong every game is different. On the one hand that means you need to be able to adapt more to the circumstances and planning out how you're going to play before the game even begins just plain doesn't work. On the other hand, it means that there is an element of luck. With chess, if you play perfectly you will never lose. Ever. With mahjong, on the other hand, even if you play perfectly - heck even if you know the location of every tile in advance, you will not always be able to win the game.

It's more similar to rubber bridge, or scrabble - both games that are very much games of skill, but where the situation you find yourself in at the end of the day varies based on luck. Of course, tournament bridge play generally uses duplicate bridge nowadays. I've always wanted to try duplicate mahjong, but it would be a lot of hassle...
