 is a slang term common in Japan. 
It translates to one who uses both sides of the blade on a sword, refering to one who swing both ways :3
(it also means liking both alcohol and sweets; a person who likes alcohol and sweets equally well)

Yeah, Morishima's great. Now that I think about it, characters who are proudly bi have appeared in a bunch of her works. But generally, I like how she uses incredibly cute art and a lot of yuri tropes to make rather real stories.

@teaknight your list says you read it already (but the numbering is confusing, so maybe you didn't); it's been out for a while, but I like to go back and re-read it.

Oh and, everyone should check out ch 5 from yuri manga Renai♥Joshi-ka (the rest is worth reading, but the chapter can stand alone), it's a cute, positive little story that'll put a smile on your face.

@teaknight somehow I missed that comment last month. Well, I've been learning a bunch of new things about CLAMP lately; I didn't know they started out doing yaoi doujinshi. I'll have to check out some of their—better—work, eh.

But I recently read Ghost in the Shell, and the mischievous manga Motoko is awesome (not that the movies aren't great, but they aren't so pleasurable shall we say).

Hm, I finished reading Angelic layer just now, and Im pretty sure Kizuki is bi, but she's a side character. There are lots of CLAMP mangas/anieme with bi characters, like Kamui from X.

Well, Gate has a character (Tuka) who's bi, although the anime just kinda suggests she likes a woman.

But not just airing shows, any others you've watched? I just got to finishing Cross Ange; I thought it was a fine epic despite all the flaws, and Ange being bi (and the unexpected resolution) only made it better :3
