Ah the underdogs, always make for interesting battles in Shounen anime/manga.

I remember one of the main ones was Rock Lee from Naruto, really inspiring and just about the epitome of what one can call a hard worker who started out with no talent. Though it seems like the story has rarely used his potential after Part 1. =/
