YES!!!! FREAKING YES!!! SEASON 2!!!! Oh my overlord, I can't wait. I can't wait!!! Anybody know what studio? If it's Madhouse, that just goes to show how awesome and well financed Overlord is because they almost never do second seasons. I don't even care that I've read the light novels already, I can watch this series over and over (and I do...) and it never gets boring. |

Awesome! Guess we'll have to wait for the 2nd movie coming out in March. It's just around the corner. Of course, no one looks forward to recaps, but I might end up watching just to see if there are any exclusive scenes not included in the TV series. |

Just Overlord: Fushisha no Ou & Overlord: Shikkoku no Tenshi. They seem to be recap movies, so I guess it's nothing special. Only one of the two is out atm, but I felt we should add them to our relations. |

This is a late reply, but what movies? Are you telling me there are Overlord movies? Like special chibi shorts, or full blown chibi movies?! I love those ple ple Pleiades spin off specials, are there already more than the ones with the Bluray and the ova with the light novel? Also BTW club we should think of something spicy to get excited about! I'm kinda sad there hasn't been anything going on... |

@Zoros2Wait whatttt, they are out on Amazon already!? Guess I should have checked that place first thing. My local bookstore sells them, but they are not up to date, until volume 5 has been released recently(Way too slow). I have no other better places for recommendation :/ |

@GrisailleI sadly haven't touched the light novels yet ( I know I know) and dropped the manga after 1 chapter (just wasn't my style with graphics). But I recently had a surge of enthusiasm to order all the official English translated light novels that were out or on pre order on amazon and they arrived last week. So now I just have to find some time and binge read them all at once, I can't wait I know everyone says the plot is way more intense in the novels, and they are the source so you don't get more canon. However, I'm curious, are there any better places to get light novels and the like rather than amazon? |

Zoros2 | 3 minutes agoOverlord has an odd economic reach. Compared to other light novels, manga, and anime, it's not all that popular in Japan but generates sufficient revenue in foreign countries. Like, over here in New York State, U.S. we're seeing a lot of enthusiasts, events, and advertising/promos in my local otaku community, but my pen pal in Tokyo tells me Overlord has really no significant presence in Japan since after it finished airing. I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to see a inversed Nichijou effect in 5 years. Thoughts anyone? |
