I also find ear buds painful. I also seem to move around a bit while listening to music so ear buds normally fall out. |

I hate earbuds. They always fall out. I much prefer the ones that wrap around the ears individually for portability. |

I don't think you can easily find the normal earphone to buy anymore, unless you got one from iphone, ipod ect. Earbuds is the common thing nowadays because it works better and painless to your ear.I recently bought Sony XBA-2 and the sound is so great specially with anime song. |

the small ear phones are really common on the train, headphones seem to be making a comeback if only for a little while (they were being handed out free at uni). i prefer ear phones for the ease of folding and packing them but they always make my ears sore, i have head phones that i only use at hoime to save my ears the pain. dont know how long theyll last |

Now we can all swing canes around at youngsters and say "back in my day, we used headphones! Sometimes we used them for our own privacy, but sometimes it was out of courtesy. Now there's another lost ideal..." And then ramble off on a different topic, as the eyes of all onlookers glaze over, waiting for us to finish our monologue, but of course, it drags on for hours until we finally come back to the topic of headphones. Satisfied with bringing the conversation full circle, we relent, and the entire room sighs of relief. |

buy the sony ones that hand around your ear. They are decent quality and only cost like 10-12$.I dont even take good care of my headphones and they last half a year |

lol once a month is pretty bad >.< but my break after a few months most of the time, so lol yeah i stick to the cheaper ones too |
