Congratulations ;) Now on to read New Testament I guess?
Railgun is a manga series, not a light novel. There are some Railgun sidestories in light novel form, but the main story is a manga.

Just finished volume 22!!!!!!!! And does railgun have their own light novel too? because if it does i going read it before the anime or do both at the same time. XD

But the OP didn't have Misaka in her casual outfit. Also Touma and Kuroko helping her fight ITEM? U wut m8.

NecroMac | Apr 14, 2013 11:02 AM
I wonder, if they introduced Misaki, does it mean we will also get current manga arc? It would be glorious :D

Oh yeah, the fact that Misaki is starring in this new LN is convincing me that if she doesn't appear in season 2 of Railgun, there will most likely be a season 3. I am sure Kamachi wants to animate her as soon as possible because she is eventually probably going to be a big character in the story. (This has been referenced or precluded many times). It is much easier to get to a point where he can animate Misaki in railgun than in Index. He would be able to animate her as soon as season 3; in contrast, in Index he would have to go to the sequel series probably in what would be the fifth season after season 3 and season 4 come out. Railgun comes out in 24 hours! :) The latest chapter of Railgun came out a few days ago too. Good news on all fronts.

Yep!! I completely agree, just finished reading both chapters. Reading SS now. It's a nice break and intro to new characters.

DanielMors | Mar 29, 2013 8:59 AM
Baka-Tsuki has SS1 between volume 13 and 14 and SS2 between 16 and 17, so yes, that is the correct order.
Volume 14, huh? It was pretty good, but in my opinion it pales in comparison to the awesomeness that 15 & 16 are.

Clizapy | Mar 29, 2013 8:53 AM
Is the Baka-Tsuki order okay?, becuase that's the order I'm following. Currently up to Volume 14, so exciting XD

Bakanky | Mar 19, 2013 4:56 AM
Αre there any other side stories meant to be read between specific volumes?
And what about the railgun novels?
Can I read those any time I want?

Soge_king999 | Mar 18, 2013 5:10 PM
Well, SS1 is supposed to be read between volumes 13 and 14, and SS2 between 16 and 17... SS1 is rather crucial to read, and SS2 introduces many characters that it would be recommended to know...

NecroMac | Mar 18, 2013 4:46 PM
LN Read form vol 1 to vol 22 Then New Testament

When it comes to Side stories, you can read when you want. You just need to know basic characters. You wont find there any spoilers for main story.

Bakanky | Mar 18, 2013 1:52 PM
hey, can someone list the order im supposed to read all these novels ? (side stories too please)
also can someone tell when im supposed to read the railgun novels ?

Aezile | Mar 14, 2013 5:10 PM
Hey Jupatho!

Necro, none yet. Most likely 24, if JC staff is going with the same strategy as S1. Though that's a bad move in my point of view, almost dropped the series with all the fillers. Fuck, this ain't bleach.

But hey, it's JC staff, they can throw money on their strongest series if they wanted to *shrugs*

NecroMac | Mar 14, 2013 10:30 AM
hmm does any one know if Railgun s2 will have 12 or 24 eps?
I'm wondering if we get some more then Sister arc.
