Well, the thing is: there is a established set of rules here on MAL that tell what is supposed to be added as anime and what is not (http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=515957). So, it's not that "it shouldn't because it's American", but rather that it shouldn't because it is against "The Guidelines".Sure, you can instead ask that MAL changes the rules of what should be accepted and what should not, but then there would be a number of problems: What would be a good new definition of "anime" that would allow for RWBY to be added to MAL? If The Guidelines were changed to include RWBY, why can't they be changed to include some other show that someone else might want? Why is it that the opinion of those who want to change the rules is more important than those who do not? (should there be a vote?) |

WEll i'm alive!I gave a very big speech about freedom of speech on a forum and got unbanned. RWBY should be an anime as it has it's own Manga is on EVERY Anime downloading site and every video store i've been too. The argument that it shouldn't because it's American is bullshit and very Racist. What's your thoughts on the Matter? |

Speaking o f which, does anyone have the impression from the trailers that all the four girls play the same in the game? They all seem to have the same types of attack, more or less, and none of the unique powers and moves they display in the series. It doesn't appear to have things like Weiss's mobility and utility glyphs, Blake's after-images, etc.Haven't played it, though, so I may be horribly wrong. Also, as I've said myself, it's only in Early Access, so a lot could be added and changed. |

Well, the episodes are now more consistent than S1, averaging around 14 minutes, but it does seemed to have stalled with this intra-school competition - almost like they're trying to mimic so many anime that have recently taken that route (i.e. Irregular at Magic High, Asterisk, etc.). I really want to see more of Adam |

This show is coming up nicely. I like the story and the direction they go in, but man is it not fast enough! Pace is fine, but we (I) need more per week, episodes should be longer or they won't be able to cover what they want to cover, in my opinion. Ofc that means working harder, though. >: I just don't think this show is worth waiting for every week it if it exceeds 10 seasons. It felt pretty great seeing episodes 1->4 though, but now I feel like I lack something again. |
