well certainly not me. and rather than hearing it's usually just the video that makes the weeaboos tingle, well obviously, it's a promotion video after all.do note that it's just another random bad sounding song to foreigners in the commercial, if it's to actually make it more known to the unknown, there were a lot more alternatives that could've appealed in a much better and positive way, as the ones who already knew, are already sold anyway. also if it just had to be anyone relatively known, then i'd say kz would've done a decent job unrelated, but the always-the-same recurring songs in project diva with always-the-same artists appearing really has to piss you off. i don't think it's a problem of which shitty voca synth personification is used but really the artist/song. |

Overrated perhaps, but how many people got into Vocaloid after hearing Koi wa Sensou, World is Mine, Melt or Black★Rock Shooter? It was the video for Koi wa Sensou that got me sucked in I guess close to three years ago now. Though I'm not a huge fan of Supercell, I do still like that song as well as Kurukuru Mark no Sugoi Yatsu.I think there are certainly producers out there that I would rather listen to: Hachi, wowaka, DECO*27 are probably big ones, though for a wide audience they aren't as easily recognized as Ryo and Supercell. This could be preparation for the english voicebank Miku release, and who knows if they are also building up to the release of the Vocaloid 3 engine. Kaito Append is being worked on (they really need some MEIKO love), and Internet co. is working on Gumi Extend. I would definitely like to see some of the other Vocaloids get some love. Sanrio (in conjunction with Ah Soft) released the Kittyler Vocaloid Iroha Nekomura who not only has a great voice, but a deep range on par with Luka. I have no idea why Sanrio hasn't actively promoted her more. |

Eri Kitamura, Lia Turned Into Vocaloid Idol CharactersSo Vocaloid 3 has been announced. Not sure how well it will go over in this club. Personally, the idea of Lia as a Vocaloid is something I've wanted for a while. So I am interested in how the engine will work in comparison to Vocaloid 2 and how the voice banks sound. As for the Toyota thing, Miku is being marketted to a wider audience, and Toyota is an excellent test vehicle for this. The campaign coincided with supercell releasing World is Mine on itunes and Amazon. I realize the haters will be unimpressed, but haters gonna hate. What can you do? |

I haven't seen the whole concert yet, can you msg me with the download link please? I normally would plan to wait for the BluRay if they release, but I want to see it now so I can understand the discussions better.I didn't remember Gumi was not owned by Crypton, it does make a difference. |

I downloaded the concert this morning. Yeah production was iffy, but I was happy tp hear tracks from Hachi, DECO*27 and wowaka. I swear I heard part of Matryoshka before the Wonder Twins came on, which made me sad as they could never play it since Gumi isn't owned by Crypton. Still, at least we got Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro (Join Up, Open Up, the Rakshasa and the Corpse) complete with Miku dressed as a Shrine Maiden complete with fan and black hair. |

i'll give a little overview by what I understood happened in the live 2 days go. i'll try translate a comment on 2ch. 19:00～19:10 -10 min delay opening performance: 19:10～19:19 -i think a real person came out to sing. she does vocaloid songs, but it was a real person. 19:22～20:00 Rolling Girl came, can after everyone got exited there was a break of about 30min. I'm afraid it was just total silence for about 30min. (i'm not sure if rolling girl was the only song sung during this period) 20:00～20:25 Commercials loop? 20:25～21:31 Medleys for 66min. this was the very good part. one main difference was the screen. you can find most videos on youtube, just search mikupa. Many people blamed 5pb, because this year they were the organizers instead of SEGA. i'll copy paste this in this club forum. |

I listened back to the collection album ~memories~Listening to the lyrics, most of the songs talk about how Miku was a program etc. so nostalgic... in more recent music does not to focus on that anymore. i'm not necessarily saying they should, just nostalgic. |
