I was wondering if anyone knows the name of an anime I'm trying to find that I watched a long time ago. The only thing I can remember is it had three main heroes/antagonist and one that comes along sometime later in the series. One of them uses a tank and one of them transforms into a cat. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

I hate it how some people have something against 70's and 80's anime! It pisses me off!!!!! The new styles don't express the same emotions, and atleast half of them are highly inspired by/copying great 70's and 80's anime that have been forgotten! ><

The creator of the club is not around anymore, so this club is pretty much dead.

Come to the Old School Anime Club instead, it's THE club where you can talk about Old School anime at ease and expect an answer at least.

Nightwalker is from the 1990s. Fix this.

No problem.

On the english dubbed version they changed it from the original japanese name which is Toenail of Satan to Satan Toe-cheese. That is why I explicitly said the english dubbed version.

Thank you so much sir.

According to the MAL profile though his name is actually Principal Toenail of Satan

This guy below is Satan Toe-cheese and he hails from Kekko Kamen OAV (the english dubbed version).

Satan Toe-cheese (who's the head of a school) and the rest of teachers are sexual predators. The teachers are constantly looking for ways to torture or humiliate the students, and from this the teachers derive sexual satisfaction.

"Kekko Kamen is a female superhero whose costume consists solely of red boots, gloves, scarf and a mask with long bunny-like ears. Her fighting style is graceful, and her finishing move involves driving the opponent to the ground with a flying headscissors takedown which presses her groin into the victim's face."

This is probably the funniest anime after Ping Pong Club.

I second Ranma being added into this club. The animation style and definitely fits in the the 80s even if the series ended in the 90s.

RobdeFR | Oct 10, 2009 5:11 PM
Nadia and Ranma may have continued through the 90's but they were 80s shows in the beginning.

I absolutely agree with ArnoldK on the border between old school and not old school.

ArnoldK | Oct 7, 2009 7:04 PM
To me a good cutoff year for "oldies" is 1995. That's when stuff like Evangelion came out, as did stuff like Escaflowne and Gundam Wing, and those three series had an impact on anime that continues today- especially evangelion.

Early 90s stuff like Nadia or Ranma 1/2 I'd safely consider oldies.

Actually there are two 90's anime clubs, but they're both....dead. Yeah.

RobdeFR | Jun 28, 2009 1:38 PM
Hmmm

Though I categorize some early nineties anime as old school these days, somehow I feel like seeing Evangelion, Escaflowne and other 90s titles on the list would not fit.

I think that a 90s club should be independent.

Emptyk | Jun 28, 2009 11:23 AM
Lol.

KannaRei | Jun 28, 2009 7:39 AM
That is what I meant. For this club we could go and define "old" as over 9000 20 years old.

Emptyk | Jun 28, 2009 7:26 AM
I've been thinking about adding the 90's, it's almost 2010 after all.

KannaRei | Jun 28, 2009 2:26 AM
I am all for adding the 90s to this club, then we can add epic series like Black Jack, which I can currently see on digital TV.
