Via Hibiki (ヴィア・ヒビキ)She is the wife of Ulen Hibiki and the biological mother of Kira Yamato and Cagalli Yula Athha.Via was against her husband turning one of their soon-to-be-born twin babies into an Coordinator. After he took their son, Kira, out of her womb, he placed him in a capsule to complete his development. Via tearfully begged Ulen for her son back, but he refused to listen to her pleas. Via could only keep their daughter, Cagalli, inside her womb, so she would be born naturally. After Kira and Cagalli's birth their home and laboratory was attacked by Blue Cosmos.
