Anime Relations: Chainsaw Man, Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!, Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo, Tensei shitara Ken deshita, Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita, Mob Psycho 100 III, Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman., Koukyuu no Karasu, Spy x Family Part 2, Mushikaburi-hime, Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau

The fall 2022 anime season has come to a close with the premier of the final episode of Witch from Mercury, and I believe I can now give my definitive ranking of all the anime I watched this season. I watched quite a few this season, some I liked more than others. This list will include all of the anime I finished, and not the ones I dropped. Eminence in shadow will be counted even though it has not concluded due to its run length, though an edit will be noted if my ranking of it changes by the end of its run. Here is my ranking of the Fall 2022 Animes:

1st: I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss 10/10

2nd: Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury 10/10

3rd: Raven of the Inner Palace 10/10

4: Mob Psycho 100 III 10/10

5: Spy x Family Part 2 9/10

6: Bibliophile Princess 10/10

7: Reincarnated as a Sword 9/10

8: Chainsaw Man 8/10

9: The Eminence in Shadow N/A

10: Beast Tamer 7/10

11: More than a married couple, but not lovers. 6/10

A few on this list came as a surprise to me as to where I put them—mainly 4, 8, and 11. Chainsaw man, which came in at #8 for me, while fun, I found it to be a little bit confusing at times, as well as kind of uncomfortable with its themes of sex. I found it more favorable after looking up what happens in the manga, but without that, I don't know how I would have enjoyed it. Season 2 may wind up being better than season 1 for me, but we'll wait and see

Mob Psycho III, #4, came in as such a surprise because I never actually finished season 2 until this season. I remember being not all too interested and stopping. When I saw that season 3 was going to come out, I decided to go back and restart it. I'm very glad I did. Season 3 was amazing, and worth the watch, and it would have been my favorite if not for my top 3 being just so damn good in my eyes.

More than a married couple, #11, was a major letdown. The premise was amazing, Akari was amazing, they were primed for a great anime, and it just flopped for me. Every single episode felt like the same thing, but not in a good way. It was the same plot over and over again, with Akari getting character growth and background and everyone else just becoming annoying and just frankly unwatchable. I'm not one for love triangles, they make me annoyed, but this one just took it to the top. I wanted to like it so bad, but it got so unbearable towards the end that I found myself skipping through almost the entire episode to just watch Akari's parts.

Overall a really good anime season, with lots of high scores and lots of new faces. Winter 2023 is looking to be a good season as well, and I have hope for all the ones I'll be watching.
