Kanon
So I finally got to finishing the original version of Kanon after about half a year finishing the 2006 version. I went into it, knowing that it wouldn't be nearly as good but about one part made my heart ache. It was the part with Makoto and her departure. Even though she was my least favorite female in the 2006 version, she really struck my heart in this one. Honestly, Ayu really bugged me, probably because I really hated seeing Nayuki losing Yuichi. For some reason I really hoped that Ayu was gone and she wasn't in that hospital. Oh well, yay for happy endings I guess. I don't quite remember all the events that were parallel between the two versions, but there were both beautiful.
