This was fun to watch. It's a unique setting, it doesn't have that many anime tropes, there's no fan service, and it takes itself seriously. Thankfully, it avoided being over the top edgy.

It becomes difficult to keep track of all the characters they introduce. It would've been better to cut them down and focus on the most important characters.

8 Afro Samurai
Story is boring. Think of the most generic shounen samurai scenario, that's the story. Blood and gore doesn't make this a good adult story. This is literally a children's story, a toddler bedtime sleepy-bye story. Why the fuck should I care about anyone in this story? Why waste so much fucking time on this? (hint: to save budget)
Basically, what I am trying to say is FUCK those literally pointless 10+ minute long flashbacks. I hope whoever wrote this shitty story has an extremely bad day today.

Music is boring, I was expecting a lot more. They hype it up a little more than the usual anime.

The Afro Samurai (character) is boring and his backstory is gay. I just want to see this fucker cut things, I DO NOT CARE about his tragic backstory and how cruel and ice cold the world is... Why should I take anything in this story seriously considering how ridiculous some of the situations are? Why does this Afro Samurai need the most cliche sob story since Naruto/One Piece/Gintama?

And that annoying ass gray hair motherfucker can eat shit. He's so obnoxious. 2 minutes of him babbling about nonsense every time he's on the screen with NO reaction from anyone listening.
He's either making (un)funny jokes (Feels adlibbed) or telling the viewer what is going on (Helps if I'm not watching I guess).

Animation is awesome during the fight scenes, it's all extremely dynamic and well done. If I didn't appreciate really good animation like this, I would not give any of these shows the time of day.

Just watch Samurai Champloo, it's the same but better in every way unless you like the desaturated colors in Afro Samurai, then I recommend Samurai Champloo with a desaturation filter over it.

10 Akame ga Kill!
I like how the protagonists have a revolving cast of characters like the antagonists do. That makes it stand out from the usual super power monster of the week show. The way abilities can transfer between people is a nice change of pace too.

That being said, some abilities clearly don't do what they've been said to do. The scissors supposedly can cut through anything... except when purple hair needed to die to orange hair. The armor suit couldn't be penetrated by anything... until Bulet needed to die with his superior. If the established rules need to be broken to force story progression, then what's the point of the rules in the first place? If the author was skilled enough, he could've avoided writing himself into plothole after plothole.

The characters are empty. They're just husks for abilities to fill in. When anyone dies, there's nothing there for me to feel. Bols is an exception to that though, very well written for anime standards (ironic because he's an enemy). Aside from him, the antagonists were so over the top cartoony evil it was almost comedic.

Every time jokes were tossed around, it felt jarring, out of place, and pointless. Certainly not the worst I've seen though.

15 Aria the Animation
This was amazing when I was half paying attention to it.

The atmosphere is beautiful and the music is relaxing but the animation is weak, the characters are one dimensional, and the jokes are generic. This would've made for a great PS2 JRPG (something like an Atelier game).

I love how the OP synthesizes the introduction of the episode's story with a bunch of nice B-roll imagery while also being accompanied by an angelic and melancholic song (Ep 4, 11). Masterful!!! No doubt anyone revisiting this series some years later will be overwhelmed with emotion despite the show being pretty basic and dull. That's pure style and absolutely no substance right there.

I hate how the last two episodes just explained what was going on with the underlying plot. I was able to pick up the pieces here and there throughout the show and it was cool, mysterious, and more subtle than most anime. But then they jam it in your face at the end and go "DO YOU GET IT YET?" just to make sure everyone's on the same page. Flashbacks, exposition, staring directly at the camera and explaining things. The typical anime/manga writing devices. The worldbuilding is still paced really well but I'm suspecting they'll just dump the lore (that you should already know if you're paying attention) on you for an entire episode straight in a later season.

I absolutely love the nonsense in this show. So much insanity in every episode, it's nonstop. The only major gripe I have with it is the straight man trope. Remove most of Beauty and Gasser's lines and this show is basically a 10/10. The English dub did a fantastic job too, even localizing some of the jokes while keeping them funny. Feels like the English crew put a lot of love into it. Some good songs too, Soften's theme is incredible and out of place (in a good way). First OP and second ED are unskippable. Loved playing rock paper scissors during the intermission too, no matter how childish it felt. Too bad it ended on a cliffhanger.

61 Death Note
Time to get really autistic.

Really intense games of logic for the first 11 episodes. Absolutely fantastic, great character interaction with motivation on each side. Some characters die too quick but their deaths are surprisingly effective and the actual death sequence is drawn out perfectly. The main character has so many tense scenes and close calls. The music helps increase the tension in each scene, the entire OST blends in extremely well. It's a really exciting thriller that doesn't have any frills that a lot of bullshit anime has. For example, it doesn't have high pitched squeaky voiced anime girls, every voice actor plays their part extremely well (especially L), it has very muted colors, the music is subtle, every character looks like a real person, and there are no bombastic see-who-can-punch-harder fight scenes. I really thought I was gonna make fun of this show going into it. I really thought it would be over the top edgy blood and gore Elfen Lied schlock garbage. But it really isn't.

Then they add a 2nd Death Note user who is a high pitched squeaky voiced anime girl with bright colors wearing a gothic lolita outfit whose entire character is just the yandere trope. Misa is the antithesis of almost every positive point this show has. As the show progresses, she's shown to time and time again ruin any scene she's in. She feels so forced in this show, it feels like an executive came up to the manga author and told him "You need to have a cute female character who loves the protagonist in this, I don't care how, just do it. We need to boost our ratings.". She's a dime-a-dozen autistic anime girl, which is ironic considering Raye's fiance was a well written female with motivation and intelligence, something few and far between in anime, yet she was only a side character. The glomping scene in episode 14 was painful to watch, it was so infuriating and just doesn't make sense. This show has been about logic and reason up until this point. If Misa really cared for and loved Light, she would actually listen to him. Again, in episode 15, she fucks up and meets up with Light while he's hanging out with L. I get it, I really do, I remember Ryuk saying anyone who gets a Death Note has misfortune befall them. This is misfortune. But my god, it is frustrating to watch Misa interact with Light because her entire existence is JUST causing misfortune for Light. She doesn't completely stop dragging the show down even after the 2nd Kira arc because she's a mainstay character now, providing "funny" comedic goofy moments in this serious story about detectives trying to catch a murderer killing hundreds of people. She's such a blight to this show. The fact that she didn't have a shift in personality whatsoever after being confined for 50 days and was led to believe she was going to be executed is proof she's another generic poorly written female anime character.

Though, to be entirely fair, there really isn't much character development in the first place. Which isn't at all what I'd praise this show about or what it tries to be. In fact, almost every anime I've ever watched, including the ones I liked, have little to no character development even IF they're trying. At the very least, in Death Note, they set up characters and their motives really well (ESPECIALLY for something apparently considered shounen). The characters can be described in a handful of words as opposed to most anime characters that could be described entirely with just a single word.

I can rate the first 11 episodes a genuine 10/10. Once Misa is introduced, the show starts to take a dive. Once the Yotsuba group is introduced, the show becomes a lot softer and slows down. That lasts for 7 episodes until the show really starts to kick back into gear. Once Mello and N are introduced, it's fine. The show definitely could've ended at episode 26 but I suppose the timeskip was interesting and all that. I really disliked how N seemed to catch on way faster than L ever did, to the point at which the way he got to his conclusions just didn't make enough sense to me. Mikami wasn't set up very well either if I can recall, he should've been set up way back when Misa was introduced. I didn't understand how the police had 2 notebooks when they were infiltrating Mello's hideout too, it really feels like a massive plothole. I don't know why Light didn't immediately kill Mello either, similar to how he killed the Ray's fiance way earlier. It seemed like the author was trying to force an outcome here with these inconsistencies, the cracks were showing and it's probably good he decided to end it. I just wish the finale was set up a little differently or just properly ended at episode 26.

72 Enen no Shouboutai
I have concluded that Japanese people have absolutely no idea how to write female characters. The women in this show are *shockingly* bad. Almost offensively bad. Easily the worst I've seen in any artistic medium so far.

The story is schlocky shounen garbage. Really generic sometimes. I can feel some Gintama influence in the comedy bits, which is good, but any sort of comedy is immediately thrown away when the cat girl decides it's time to strip. The stripping happens in completely serious fights too, interrupting the flow of the battle worse than exposition dumps.

Really though, the biggest positive this show has is that the fight scenes have well done animation. The art direction is completely inconsistent though and it's very noticeable.

The last fight with his bro was pretty good.

90 Gintama
I'm really nostalgic for this show. I watched it during my final high school years. I loved nearly every character even if they're all one dimensional joke factories. It had so many laugh out loud moments. The humor suffers from the Straight Man trope and it can be *hard* to ignore. The show can also become a generic shounen whenever it feels like it and when it does, it does not hold back. It is the most boring, melodramatic, pointless shit. I constantly ask myself "Where did the funny go?" whenever that bullshit starts. It sucks so much.

This is the kind of show that you'd go to youtube to look up the funny moments instead of rewatching... If you can trust anime fans to actually clip the good funny moments.

When the timeskip hit, it was so relieving. Finally, all the funny came back. It was so good to see the characters I spent over 200 episodes watching actually just be themselves instead of "Generic Shounen Badass Dude". It's just so surreal seeing every character with different personalities turn into the EXACT same character all at the same time. It's some of the worst writing I've ever seen. It's spitting on the fans of the show and most fans don't even realize it.

104 Gintama: The Semi-Final
The total runtime for these specials was 48:31.

Subtract the intros, outros, and title/subtitle cards, (12:59) you get a runtime of 35:32.

Of these 35 minutes and 32 seconds, at least 10 minutes are dedicated to dumb fucking melodrama.

So you're left with roughly 25 minutes of funny.

That is 51.52% funny compared to total runtime. Or 70.36% funny if you skip the useless intros, outros, etc.

I'd say that's pretty good for Gintama's standards, especially considering how close to the end it is. Highly recommend.

Funniest, comfiest anime I've ever watched. Super feel good, lovable characters, and great soundtrack. Manages to dodge almost every trope that otherwise would plague anime like this, making it stand above every other slice of life comedy anime immediately. Something else it does, unlike a vast majority of anime, is have actual character development. One of the few shows that compelled me to read the manga.

This is the best anime/manga the slice of life genre has ever gotten and probably will ever get. Literally every slice of life is shallow junk food except for this one.

Okay, imagine taking one of the coolest, most badass franchises of all time and then turning into some generic, trite anime garbage. That's this. What a fucking waste.

Marty O'Donnell's legendary score is used in this travesty, so the music is good I guess.

If you need to watch any of these, watch Origins 1 & 2. They literally just go over the backstory of Halo in a pretty straightforward way. No melancholic war story, no silly hijinx, no anime fighting, just... the backstory narrated by Cortana with a sprinkle of anti-war sentiment. Simple.

Working part time my ass. There's hardly any actual MgRonald action. We constantly hear about Satan getting promotions and shit but never get to watch him get them. It's all about his dumb ass harem and some demon vs angel shit I don't care about. I want to see him and Alsiel working at the MgRonald. I want to see Satan adapt to the fast food life. I want to see Alsiel freak out after he accidentally rings up the wrong order and begs Satan for forgiveness. I want to see a promo for the new "spiciest buffalo fries" go wrong after Satan spices them up too much with his magic. I want to see a lunch rush get way too out of control. I want an actual buildup to the Sentucky Fried Chicken place opening up and having an entire arc's worth of competition between the two. I wanted a nice, light-hearted, FUNNY season of them working at that damn place. There's too many angels and demon characters. I would've rather seen more realistic human characters, like I dunno, his fucking co-workers?? The show suffers from the Gintama problem where it's a comedy with hijinx but then an arc hits and the dramatic "story" just drags on and on with no substance. It's just complete nonsense with no sense of pace whatsoever.

The characters are a mixed bag. At least some of them are funny but everyone could be summed up in a trope. Bare bones.

This could've been great if the author didn't feel the need to rely on an extremely misguided, boring plot. How you fuck up a fish-out-of-water comedy show is beyond me but the Japanese managed to do it.

137 JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 3: Stardust Crusaders
Introducing stands is the most important thing Jojo has ever done. Basically superhero powers without the gay spandex. It's great. Fights start to become heavier games of logic that become incredibly engaging in later parts. Part 3 is pretty basic when it comes to the fights, usually boiling down to whoever can punch harder. Still, fantastic OST, animation, characters, all the works.

139 JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai
It took some time for me to really enjoy this. Has the best characters out of any other part, really solid OST again, slightly weaker animation. This whole part meanders too much, taking 17 episodes to finally introduce the villain. However, he's probably one of my favorite villains out of any piece of media I've consumed. The ending was disappointing and failed to wrap up many plot points introduced along the way. Still, it was a lot of fun to watch.

141 JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 6: Stone Ocean
did em dirty

I've never liked the beginning of part 6, even in the manga. It's post-prison break where it really shines.
Unfortunately, the weakest section of part 6 was still pretty damn underwhelming even animated. This isn't like part 5, where some fights were way better than I remembered. In fact, I was really looking forward to Jumpin' Jack Flash, it's my favorite pre-prison break fight, but they really did him dirty giving him the CGI treatment in a lot of places. Not just him, but the objects floating around, White Snake, and the frogs (just in this one fight alone) were all very noticeably CGI.

In general, they're way more lenient with it this part than any others so far. It's really disappointing to see because, I'll be honest, the incredible animation is the glue that holds Jojo together. Without it, I can't even enjoy watching the stand battles, I'd rather read it.

In hindsight, it makes complete sense that this part would look worse given the circumstances around the production and the popularity of part 6 but it still sucks man. I'd have rather waited than get a less refined, more rushed out product. I just hope they really take their time with part 7, or decide to not to do it at all.

At least that opening was Sick as all Hell.

It was really difficult to find a high quality rip of this.

Anyways, I loved playing Astro Boy: Omega Factor [tm] as a kid, which feels like a very loose adaptation of this movie (and my only experience with the Osamu Tezuka universe) and felt like giving it a shot. It ended up being alright. My favorite part is comparing and contrasting how they reworked the story and characters 20 some years later. Personally, I still prefer the GBA game's story/characters but this wasn't too bad. It felt very scattered, moving from a train murder mystery to a bomb defusal situation to a tribal war. The video game covers even more junk in arguably less time but I can forgive it because it's a video game, I can actually play something instead of staring at my screen drooling while a story unfolds before me.

My second favorite part and what people will probably find the most fascinating about this movie is the gorgeous underwater paintings and scenery. They really don't make em like they used to.

I'm not at all surprised Yuji Ohno is responsible for the OST and (probably) sound design. I heard a small part of the Lupin title sting (that is still used to this very day!) a couple times throughout this movie. That opening is so funky too. Classic Ohno right there. Pretty sure the very same singer also sung an OP for Lupin at some point. Finding all of this out was a REALLY pleasant surprise. I love niche connections like this.

Feels like 2014 again.

The attention to detail in this show is absolutely incredible. I have never seen an animated show that goes through outfits so casually like this. Animate things I'd never see animated in shows nowadays (lest the animated object in question be turned to CGI). The budget must've been insane.

They avoid a lot of tropes that make shows like this suck. There's no cutaway gags, no chibi, no straight manning, no(t that much) fanservice, neat stories (a tall order for anime), no extremely overused and stale one-joke token characters, actually funny sometimes (in a fun cartoony way rather than a boring over-the-top sexual way), and most importantly, it's fun(!!!).

People can have their generic flavor of the month romcom slop but man.. So much more effort, love, and care was put into this.

Also every OP and ED absolutely nailed the music choice, but the visuals of OP2 and ED2 are way, way better than the visuals in the other ones. It was cool hearing songs I was already familiar with in OP3 and ED3 too. I'm a big Meiko Nakahara fan.

This was a very good movie. Not cliche, but very by-the-books. The story beats were standard, broken into clear cut chapters and the pacing was consistent and speedy. Everything was logical and well thought out.

The characters were written well but I never saw much development outside of mostly the girl and some of the boy.. Especially in ways I'd expect them to (The girl never betters her relationship with her father and the boy never quite breaks it off with the manager in a satisfying way). In fact, the biggest weakness this movie has is the amount of minor plot points it has and how they sometimes don't resolve.

I'd have liked this to be more tragic too. I thought it was going to be honestly. That would have brought it up to a 9 easily.

Music and sound design didn't have many standout memorable moments to me (The wind chime sound utilized during key moments is all that comes to mind) but they certainly weren't done poorly.

The artwork was absolutely gorgeous. So many stunning visuals encapsulating the duality of the peaceful rural countryside and the amazing urban sprawl of the city. The fantastical comet scenes were completely awe-inspiring. Some of the most beautiful artwork pulled out of anime. The trip the boy has after drinking the girl's sake was an amazing bit of animated craziness too. Absolutely solid work.

#5 - Millionaire Village
The weakest one, fairly uninteresting. They were still figuring out the art direction here. It's a bit rough. 5/10

#2 - Mutsu-kabe Hill
Very good OVA, little to do with Rohan though. Very grotesque and grizzly. Cool story. 7/10

#9 - The Run
Fucking 10/10. MASTERFUL animation and action. Nonstop insanity for the whole last 3rd of the OVA. Could've been an A+ stand fight against someone who was just forming a stand naturally (really should've been, none of that "reincarnation of Hermes" crap). Pretty good story, if a bit predictable. They reused 3 songs from part 3 in this one too (the other 3 OVAs entirely reuse tracks from part 4) and they all blended in perfectly. Highly recommend to someone who isn't even a big Jojo fan but still loves action shows. 10/10

#16 - At a Confessional
It was fine, lots of weird decisions that I didn't like. The popcorn scene was really over the top, even for Jojo. The tongue of the daughter being where the evil spirit communicated was dumb. I didn't understand the ending but I didn't think about it hard anyways. 6/10

This adaptation of Lupin is very dated. Even when comparing it to the 1977 series. 169 Lupin III (2015)
An amazing reboot to the Lupin franchise that, as far as I understand, has had a somewhat disappointing output since the end of the Red Jacket series in 1981. Slick animation and revamped art direction reminiscent of Space Dandy and Cowboy Bebop, classic tunes mixed in with new tracks that seamlessly blend together, decent episodic scenarios that wrap up nicely. The entire main cast is written really well. I find Rebecca to be a little too obnoxious sometimes and I'm glad she's not a mainstay. The overarching plot is pretty weak and kind of dragged the show down in the later half. It still is a must watch for anyone interested in Lupin, even newcomers to the series. Though if you start with this, I imagine it'll be hard to go back to the earlier series.

180 Lupin III: Part 5
Imagine Lupin (2015) but just overall better. Better overarching plot, better episodic episodes, same excellent animation, and much better ED. However, the side character sucks. I really don't like the Lain knockoff here, she's really cringey. This part does that "tech-savvy" trend that focuses on new shit like drones and livestreaming and all that. It'll become dated as time goes on but whatever. It wasn't painfully distracting. The only time it gets really bad is Ami's "Hello Underworld" shit, it's so gay.

Loved the chemistry between Fujiko and Lupin here. Really surprised to see them try to pull something out of these characters that had been around for 50+ years at that point.

181 Lupin III: Part 6
cgi car...
set in great britain...
this is turning out to be the worst part yet...

In all honesty though, this part feels really schizophrenic. The episodic episodes are all over the place. It feels like the staff took from Monkey Punch's b-sides that he never finished and didn't do much of anything to make them comprehensible. It's definitely lacking. A lot of the dialogue feels really disjointed, coupled with a nonsensically fast pacing can leave me confused sometimes. The overarching stories are unfortunately not any better either despite being given more time to flesh them out.

Regardless, and aside from the CGI cars, this part is usually gorgeous. Great animation all around. Gets a bit more gritty and gory too, which is fun.

Music's the same as always, it ranges from passable to good. The first ending is great by itself, but it feels out of place when the episode ends on a serious cliffhanger.

Lupin's never been a perfect series but this hit below the mark. Not by a lot, but still underwhelming. I can safely recommend episodes 15, 16, 17, and 21. They're all pretty damn solid Lupin showings, episodes 17 and 21 really exemplifying the best of Lupin, so this season wasn't a complete disappointment.

182 Lupin III: Part 6 - Jidai
This was a pretty decent sendoff to a voice acting legend...

However, the pacing felt too quick and it wasn't quite as melancholic as I was hoping. I felt like if it had been a 44 minute episode, or even a full special, it would've had enough time to properly revisit Jigen's character to the fullest extent and give Kiyoshi a proper sendoff.

This show has some of the most disappointing battles I've ever seen. Terrible execution to a mediocre buildup every fight. Yuno's motives hardly make any sense. Interesting characters die left and right before they can really have time to shine. 217 No Guns Life
A very unique setting with interesting visuals. It has a lot of CGI, which actually blends into the setting well enough because of the setting. The art direction blends cyberpunk scifi with hard-boiled noire stuff. Though cyberpunk already draws from noire, this leans heavier on that noire aspect. This is by far the best part about the show.

Unfortunately, most of the characters, while the designs and outfits are great, are pretty shitty. Some characters with good personalities are underutilized or improperly used. For example, the golden head guy was probably the most interesting character and could've been explored a lot more. He needed much better pacing. Colt is another person who I assumed was a mainstay, he dies an episode and a half later. Apparently his death is suppose to be a grandiose, sad sendoff... to someone that was introduced literally 30 minutes ago. The main character, while "cool", is devoid of any true personality too. He's a grey blob whose only three traits are "his head is a gun", "hard-boiled", and "easily embarrassed for comedic effect". The evil girl in episode 11 is comedically bad at playing a villain.

An episodic monster-of-the-week formula would've fixed this show. It's basic, but the last episode proves it works well in this setting. All the conspiracy shit is poorly explained, somewhat hard to follow, and doesn't even pay off within the 12 episode run (kinda almost like Fire Force, an anime that came out around the same time).

Of course, there's stupid humor that is very inappropriately timed. Not gonna watch season 2.

The story is really tight knit and compelling. There's so many dynamic parts to it and the pacing is superb. The characters are very interesting. The soundtrack is badass.
This shit is GOOD.

I think the only flaw is the art direction is too rough and the animation isn't fluid enough to compensate for it. If a lot of the less action-oriented shots were ironed out more, it'd be perfect. It's still a great start though and wholly unique.

The music is stellar. Every episode felt very long, in a good way. There's a lot to dig into in this.

Lord forgive me but I must complain. I fucking hate the Lain fanatic losers. They're always mentally ill.

275 Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san
The best part is the cast by far.
A crazy ego centric guy, a boring kinda wienerish main character, a guy obsessed with being a macho man, a frail weakling trying to get fit, and a 70 year old principle disguised as a student all form a high school club dubbed the Sexy Commando Club (formerly known as the Karate Club). Later joined by a girl obsessed with mustaches, a pathetic kind of slimey teacher who cries a lot, a mystery animal with a zipper on its back, and a nerd with an afro.

It sounds incredible but ends up being fine. Kind of funny but relies on randumb gags too much for it to be hilarious. I wish the characters acted more like characters and not "Super Funny" gag producers. The world building is surprisingly competent and consistent for an anime, making me further wish this wasn't gag joke central.

There were 3 parts that made me laugh my ass off
1. Episode 18, when Yoroshiku Mask's underwear gets a hole ripped in it
2. Episode 24, when Meso scares the shit out of Fuumin
3. Episode 42, I don't even know how to describe it. Masaru has a 'unique' thumbs up scene at one point.

Cool movie, the ending isn't as good as I first realized. It's for the Big Thinkers to waste time decoding useless esoteric philosophical "knowledge". I still like the visuals during it. Animated really well, pretty unique soundtrack.

After marinating on it for about 2 hours, I can conclude this is an incredible dig on social norms. Entirely counterculture. Mocking human behavior in the most honest way possible. Real punk music with animation that is exactly as absurd as everything it makes fun of. I love this.

The story isn't particularly interesting and the characters have no depth but man, seriously some of the most gorgeous artwork I have ever seen. The art direction changes wildly throughout the film with complete intent and purpose. The animation isn't afraid to be experimental either. It's borderline 4th wall breaking in a completely serious manner and it's absurdly surreal. The sound design is incredible too and complements the animation perfectly. Just magnificent. Truly amazing.

Honestly thought the movie was going to end in Tokyo.
Turns out that was the halfway point.

It was pretty fun regardless. The movie tries to take on a lot of topics at once and sorta kinda sees them through. The two main characters fall in love but I found that more contrived than it should've been. To my 230IQ brain, it felt like they were just becoming friends rather than lovers.

That little cat thing turning that guy into a chair sure was annoying because he'd do anything but explain why he did it and then go "Don't you get it yet". I feel hypocritical saying that, especially since it was later explained anyway, but he was being obnoxious for what felt like the sake of being obnoxious at the time. Simple as.

Overall, the movie was visually beautiful. The actual adventure was pretty fun. There were a couple cool songs. The movie was pretty decent, I'd say.
