Angel Beats!
This anime has amazing graphics, epic scenes & beautiful moments. Not to mention the soundtrack has far surpassed my expectations for an anime show. The only thing that prevents Angel Beats! from getting a perfect rating is it's imperfect ending, when everyone just ups & leaves that Battlegrounds world. The show is too short.

This is my first review. Hopefully everyone goes easy on me as I'm not used to writing things like this, but decided to try it out since it's Dragonball Z, one of the most action-packed animes out there. Please note that I will be using complete english, and refer to everyone by their english names.
Story 2/10 Usually the Dragonball Z stories are above average and quite enjoyable. But this one is a flopping fail! Again, where were the Z Warriors when Gero was killed in the main story? Perhaps this story was taking place in Future Trunk's timeline, but then why is Future Trunks there??? What timeline is this again??? What the HECK!?! There are just too many questions that are going make the hardcore fans confused, and when they can't figure out the answer it will piss them the **** off. Not just the old fans, but the new fans are going to be just as angry and annoyed when they find out how much of this story relates to the main story, and let me tell you why: This movie goes on with no background on any of the characters except Dr. Gero. You briefly see Android #17 and Android #18 at the start for no good reason, and it gives no explanation (or reminder) of why two murderous androids suddenly show up in a city and try to kill Goku. Come for the action but don't try to make sense of this story as it will only feel like a toothpick's pointy end was clawing at your brain. Art 8/10 Nothing was too horrid to look at other than the purple-walking cactular known as Android #15. No complaints on my end considering the movie was made in 1992. A few failed lip syncs but that's not an issue. Sound 10/10 I might be a fool for rating it this high, but Dragonball Z has it's own nostalgic sound and feeling to it. The ki blasts, punches, impact hits, and explosions all sound cheesy and reused. Some fans are okay with it, other fans well... most likely wouldn't be watching the series for very long. But you aren't gonna get this sense of feeling anywhere else. Character 6/10 Congratulations, we have returned to a WTF level. Why is Future Trunks even there?? Also, watching Android #15 will make you wonder if you did all your household chores and errands for the day because that is how boring he is to listen to and watch! All the other characters though don't sway too far from their main storyline parts. Enjoyment 4/10 Sigh, I guess they're doing something right if it caused me to come back and rewatch it a second time. But realizing how flawed the storyplot for this movie is kind of ruined it. The entire story won't get interesting until Vegeta steps into the scenery. Overall 6/10 I rate this slightly above average. The story will make you rip everything to shreads, but the action will make you wanna grab the popcorn and flip up the volume on your speakers. Do not start with this anime if you are a newcomer to the series, as the plot will only be there to torture you in the long run. |

Right off the bat it begins in a terrible fashion when it doesn't follow it's PG rated category. Only 5 minutes into the first episode, I got to see a nipple and round feminine a$$. |

Mirai Nikki (TV)
Mirai Nikki made me go "wow" a few times. Other times it made me go "what's gonna happen next?" in a non-spoiling way. And of course the occasional "wtf" which I won't try to hide.
But usually it left me speechless, which is a good sign because it means I want more, and have nothing bad to say about it. Bottom line, Mirrai Nikki makes the cut, hands down. If your a person whose into drama, has a fascination with death, or enjoys a good psychological thriller then this is the show for you. |

Fuck Accel World! I'm not gonna watch it anymore. ....
The graphics suck, and aren't on par for 2012! The (dub)voice acting sucks! The story is way too chiche for something that has swear words in it -- oh I'm sorry, the show is PG so why is it using "fuck" and "shit" to begin with??? Just bad, bad layout, bad because it's overused, and you feel it being overused. That is not a good sign. It's like this show is intentionally trying to piss you off! The characters aren't even likeable. Sword Art Online followed a little bit of the same formula, but at least there everything was optiomized, the voice acting was stomachable, and the story was way more interesting in the beginning than what Accel World had to offer. Accell World is pure garbage, and I refuse to go any further than episode 5. I won't waste another minute facepalming myself because I'm afraid it's gonna cause brain damage. Who knows? Maybe this show doesn't suck, maybe this show gets better and opens up less plotholes deeper in. I don't care! I'm not dealing with it any more. I'm just gonna move onto the next show on my list and hope for the best. |

I am not a fan of food or cooking shows, but I am however type of person where the first episode has to be good in order for me to gain the energy to watch the rest of the season. Lucky Star was pure "scratch my brain with a 2x4 wrapped in barbwire to keep me sane" torture! It keeps going on & on about food you wanna eat but can't because you don't live in the right country! They don't even attempt to talk about something interesting! So this entire show was just scrapped by me all-together.
I dared one of my friends to watch the first episode and he almost cried! He seriously felt like he was going to die! It's that bad! You need a LOT of patience if you're to watch a full episode of Lucky Star let alone the entire season. That's all. |
