Thankfully their getting a second season, otherwise this would be an lackluster ending to an otherwise good show.

A very very beautiful movie. As in all Makato movies, the lighting and scenery shots are wonderful. The overall message, moving on after loss, and the feeling of loneliness and the pursuit to end it, is strong as well. However, the connectivity is a bit off and it seemed like the director had too many ideas he wanted to convey. Some parts seemed to be glossed over, which led to some parts of the story not making too much sense. Still a good movie!

On my rewatch of this show, I remembered how much I connected with the characters. Does not get old.
