Watching on Crunchyroll -- pretty good so far
The whole series (going into the other seasons as well) are all fine. I don't feel the stories are very well developed (or at least well-represented: it's a weird mix of one-offs vs. connected storyline), and the oddly specific and developed aspects of the story doesn't seem to lead anywhere, but the art is very nice, so it's aight. I've basically just been confused most episodes as it started becoming the background show while I worked lol. |

[Restarted] It's so cute, but sometimes it's just too nonsensical and confusingly dramatic (or the other way around too?) I don't know, I'm just not all that satisfied with it half the time. Oh, don't get me wrong, like I've said, it's pretty good. The ending is sweet too, though it came out of nowhere and last second (Kyo's bit). Also the artwork's not my type.. xD; BUT STILL, CUTE.

Watched this sitting by myself at the 331 Shiloh apt, right before the summer field season 🥲 It got me good. My nose was v stuffy. How dare they set the happenstances up so perfectly to make me bawl that much. Very sad, but very pretty... Idk what words to put here lol. Part of what made me sob is that we don't get a fairy tale, fantasy happy ending, and some people never walk out from the shadow of a loved one's death.... Good film. No notes.

It gets really unclear towards the end. I understand what the author wants to portray, but I felt like it could have been better presented. I didn't enjoy the ending either. Again, could have been better presented. Maybe more detail? 9th is my favorite, and I loved that she and Nishijima ended up together. The characters are pretty nice, but I wish there were more. Some characters' purpose seemed solely to die... Also, 2nd's voice is pretty annoying. I saw a lot of EVA in there (and come on, white haired dude in both who loves the main character in a completely gay-appropriate way, and it was even the same voice actor), although of course EVA was way better (I appreciate Amano Yukiteru at least kind of trying though, even if it all just made things worse.) Overall, it really grabbed my interest and I couldn't help but watch episodes after episodes though, so that's an A+
