Synopsis

Stag beetle wrestling has become popular in Edo. Kagura enters Sadaharu 28, a dung beetle that she is fond of, into a competition. But Okita of the Shinsengumi barges in and defeats Kagura with his jumbo stag beetle. Meanwhile, Gintoki learns that stag beetles can be sold at high prices and plans to go to the forest to catch some. Kagura says that she wants to catch a stag beetle to avenge Sadaharu 28. The group heads to the forest, but they find the Shinsengumi already there, desperately looking for stag beetles…
