Chuu Bra!!

The moment I watched the first episode of this anime, the only thing I could say was "What the f*ck...?".

This is an anime that deals about ...
elementary school girls ...
that are into experimenting/flashing/watching/wearing all kinds of...

UNDERWEAR.

That's the only theme in this anime. Around that, they've built a tiny little story that consists of destilled 100% pure nonsense.

... As it's so ridicously and pathetically puny, I decided to just explain it to you.
There's a girl, who has been - hold on, this sounds retarded - trained by her *grandmother* in "the way of the underwear". Indeed. She's some kind of underwear-guru. Oh, and her brother (I think he is, could be her dad though) works in the underwear design industry. It's in the family. *sigh*
Anyways, at her new school she meets two normal girls that she succeeds in getting interested in underwear and they found a f*cking UNDERWEAR CLUB.

As expected, yuri and ecchi scenes all over the place, while using mediocre artwork. Sound is the usual J-Pop and is about the best thing about this anime at all, yet still only just above-average. Character designs are awful and you won't get to enjoy any funny scene because you're still baffled from the bullshit people say in this anime every 5 seconds. Overall, it's just a weak, cheap anime.

The only reason I'm still watching this is because I'm convinced that if I can sit through an entire season of this bullshit, I'm able to withstand anything. And I'm having a hard time, believe me.

Here's the thing, this title delves into subject matter that is really ignored and that's underwear. It is something that a lot of people do, and that's wear incorrect type underwear be they male of female and this series attempts to address this subject matter. For example in the first episode when she is discussing appropriate comfortable bra size, this is applaudable because all too often women will wear a bra size that's too small for them causing them discomfort.

However, what this series does wrong, and why I actually scored it so low was the fact that they address this topic not in a ... serious fashion but wrapped in full on ecchi comedy. Now not saying some comedic relief in the show is a bad thing, but they way it was handled here made it feel as though the show was using a serious subject to thinly disguise their desire to show under age girls in the most compromising situations possible.

The episode director apparently thought that boob grabs, panty shots and all kinds comprimising situations was the best way to go when in reality it wasn't and that is what left a bad taste in a lot of viewers mouths and led to this title being rated low. You can't expect people to take something serious if all you do is place unnecessary ecchi moments throughout the episodes.

Take away all the lewdness, add some serious intellectual and factual scenes and treat this subject matter with a little decency and you'll probably get a better more grounded response. The director and writer need to grow up before they attempt once again to handle a mature subject matter and quit treating it like a pervert in a playground.

I only watched this anime since I am trying to get animes with 13 episodes or less out of the way to watch animes with 26 eps or less.

Anyway, love the message they're getting across. There is a lot more to panties than sex appeal, but comfort. Great. But my goodness the characters are boring, the story-line is predictable, I mean it has a few laughs here and there, but this anime SUCKS!

I would watch like, 4 or 5 episodes, but you'll probably get the point sooner. Unless you're around 11 - 13 and female, watch all of it.

Now, I'm gonna head off to watch ... something more entertaining.

Even if I’m an Ecchi lover I didn’t enjoy it a single bit.
This took me two whole years to watch, and here’s why.

The story 3/10 :
Cute girl doing cute thing, a one way love interest, school themed and… Underwears? From all the possible things I could expect is not an Underwear Club, it didn’t interest me at all.

The art 6/10 :
That part was actually okay, the style was simple and nothing too be hyped about. Design was alright but except that it was generic.

The sound 4/10 :
... The sounds and OST weren’t that great to be fair. Nothing to say about it, just meh.

The characters 3/10 :
“Okay maybe everything else was bad, but the characters can’t be that bad right ?”. Well here you go, an energetic loli, a cute shy girl with big boobs, a teacher looking for love, a single boy in a whole group of girls. I don’t think I need to say more about it since it’s 100% classic tropes.

The enjoyment 2/10 :
I enjoyed it so much that it took me two years to watch it. What do you expect, it wasn’t interesting or unique and had very boring characters.
