This was obviously made for kids 12 and under. But if you hold it to that standard, the writing is surprisingly good. The characters are charming. The world building is both silly and adorable. All buildings and most objects have a face. I don't want to give away who, but there's something with a face that I was not expecting to be a character involved in the plot.
