Wu Dong Qian Kun 6th Season

What a let down compared to previous seasons and the novel :
- only battles. Battles after battles. For a Xianxia, it's normal to have a lot of them, but here the donghua has become battle centric, with barely anything else.
- dark scenes, backgrounds etc... everything is in the night, dark interior, sunset scenes... where are the beautiful backgrounds ? Lively scenes ? Nothing, just dark and empty scenes.
- ... and as a contrast, neon colored skills effects, bi color scenes, and all in all screen effects reminding of things like Demon Hunter....

They clearly have been influenced by the like of Demon Hunter, and for the ... worse in my opinion, as everything else has been reduced to almost nothing : battles after battles, screen effects, dark scenes and dark empty backgrounds with flashy skill effect for the 'cool effect'...

I really hope season 7 will return to how it was and closer to the novel atmosphere. I can't say I do not recommend as it may be necessary to watch this before S7 when it comes, so I'll select mixed feelings instead, but it's really not a seal of approval.
