It is the early 21st century, and mankind is doomed. Due to a mysterious virus that steals the essence of human life, humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction with only one hope for salvation: the blood of a vampire. Vampires have closely guarded the key to curing the virus for several years, which has led to an immense rift between them and humans and the world's descension into chaos.

A vampire named Duo, having leaked the secret to saving humanity, is now considered a traitor to his race, and the powerful vampire Zieg is on his trail. However, due to Zieg's sense of duty, his heart is torn: should he kill the man who betrayed his people, or will his personal history with Duo sway him to have a change of heart?

Where do I begin? Legend of DUO is about an hour long series filled with pain for your eyes, your ears and all your senses.

The animation ALWAYS takes the cheapest way possible (though the design i probably the best thing in the series), the stroy is a mess, the characters are bland and annoying, there is no action whatsoever (though, it makes patetic attempts), the dialouge (which is the core of the series) really sucks and as whole the series never impressed me in any way. Legend of DUO is probably the suckiest show I have ever been unfortunate to complete and I wouldn't recommend read more

Vampires in anime are, surprisingly for me, few and far between, with the biggest standout being Hellsing. So when I discovered Legend of Duo had vampires, I figured I could at least give it a try. After all, what's the worst that could happen? I found out how bad it could truly get in just one hour.

Where do I begin? For starters, the animation is pretty pathetic. Every single trick in the book is used, and none of them prove to be useful. Still shots and long sweeping pans? Check. Camera shaking? Check. Large supplies of reused stock character images with only the mouths moving? read more

Legend of Duo cannot be explained with mere words, for it is something out of this world.

A feast to your eyes, like a fish still twitching with the last breath of it's life, as you impale it with your mighty fork and then shove it into your eye socket. A true feast, like no other.

Of sound, what a glorious composition, smoothly flowing in the insides of your head, tuning your brain to enjoy. Oh how could they, only one of the voice actors rose to fame, for all of them clearly deserve it. Such a waste.

I have watched Legend of Duo numerous times, and read more

The story is original, well-considered and very detailed. The episodes are only 5 min/ep, so the whole anime series is only one hour. The fact that it's so short doesn't have any effect on the clarity of the story. The dialogs are poetic. The art is amazing. Especially the dying is nice. I've never seen an anime or movie in which where dying is so well exposed. (When humans die of the disease od death there's this zombie-like shot of their last moment, and when vampires die they fade in red dust like glowing coals.)
I usually like more evil characters, but the characters are beautiful read more
