Zutaboro Reijou wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai sareru

Both anime feature a main female character who is considered “ugly” and abused by her parents. In contrast, she has a beautiful, kind, and seemingly perfect sister whom everyone adores. Eventually, the main character is sold off to another country, with her parents more than happy to be rid of her. The prince of that country is a handsome man who buys her because he genuinely likes her and wants to rescue her from the abusive environment she comes from. 

The main girl is treated like Cinderella—seen as worthless and dressed like a servant, while her sister is beautiful and loved. Her family forces her to marry a rich man to get rid of her. Rumor has its, hes a cold guy who treats women poorly; However, when she meets him, he turn out to be a kind man who wants to save and protect her. The story features both romance and stunning artwork throughout.  

Both anime are set in a fantasy world where the family sells their daughter to marry a prince from another country. Rumors claim he is a cruel man who hates women and treats them terribly. But upon arrival, she discovers he is completely different from the rumors. His country has a rich and fascinating culture that is nothing like her hometown. Though the main characters are different in personality, both stories show her trying to rebuild her confidence.
