Sand Land: The Series

Though the overarching story and characters' objectives are different, both are CG-animated shows featuring a group of wanted individuals on the run in a desert world with limited resources. 

As both shows are written by Akira Toriyama, they have similar art styles, senses of humor, action, and adventurous elements. Sand Land feels a bit like if the early arcs of Dragon Ball were set in a desert. 

Both shows are shounen action shows with a sense of adventure which feature a group of people fighting against bandits/pirates and a corrupt government. One Piece is MUCH larger in scope, while Sand Land is more bite-sized, but there should be crossover appeal.
