Both have the same vibes, with a princess that has been captured by demons. Though, upon closer inspection they aren't quite like your stereotypical princess, likewise the demons are not demon-like at all. Both are comedic and totally unserious in nature so you can just relax and watch.

Both get their comedy from the simple pleasures in life being ramped up to the extreme, with protagonists being 'tortured' by how good these things are. In Himesama, it's often food being too good. In Kawaisugi Crisis, it's animals being too cute. Comfy and fun, lighthearted watches.

Two protagonists with a talking-inanimate-object companion in a fantasy world with modern technology. Both anime revolve around food a lot and have some really cute characters and similar vibe, as well as sharing a couple of voice actors.

While not too similar in terms of plot, both anime have a ton of cute animals, characters and situations, sure to make at least a few people melt from cuteness.

Two comedy fantasies where the MC's are forced to succumb into the temptation of things be it food and hobby-related stuff. Ikenaikyo is more plot driven with romance and has the MC being taught how to do things that are 'naughty' for her own sake as a person whereas Himesama is more gag-based and has her being tortured into wanting those things in order to reveal secrets.

Another show from this season with characters that, while “evil” by name and reputation, turn out to be really nothing of the sort, proving to be more fond of tasty food and cute animals than being truly villainous, and in doing so help bridge the gap between themselves and their so-called enemies. An atypical Slice of Life with plenty of feels ☺️
