Asura Cryin'

Ouch right. Well if you take into consideration that a bunch of random crap happens and nothing is explained you will understand exactly why I gave Asura Cryin' the rating I did. Characters come in and out without any real explanation, and the story is no different. This anime could have been a lot better. It looked promising with the robots and the fighting, but towards the end proved to be another anime that didn't offer much if you are looking to watch something that makes any sense.

It is a great anime only if you watch the whole 2 seasons because it doesn't make much sense if you just watch the first season. When I first watched thisI cant understand the asura cryin thing or anything about the 1st world stage or something but after watching the second season, I was like "oh this is the best anime I have ever seen".It has a nice story, nice art, lovable characters and I really enjoyed it. No matter what others says this is a good anime for me.

The concept of this anime's Supernatural Mecha story is interesting and worth watching if you don't mind a lot of key blank pages in its plot, at the start you'll see the protagonist caught up in a situation where he's first attacked, yet somehow magically after the fact meeting his assailant all is instantly forgiven & forgotten, with no visible motive for doing so. To put it plainly, it's as if the story telling is just so bad that people who you thought might be the villain ends up actually being an ally, without questioning whether or not they could be trusted. Characters where you ... think are enemies are just immediately misunderstood allies, with absolutely no effort to take time to explain an event that had occurred in previous episodes.

This anime is very good for those who love mecha and supernatural anime. they combined both aspects into one and the story lines are good. for underage maybe they need to re-watch the anime since the time dimensioning is quite confusing in the first, but soon if you follow the story carefully, you will catch the ides soon. the character is good and fits perfectly with the characterization. I like this anime due to the graphical setting which is resemble to the real life, but I hate some points when they put the student's council role and school life that didn't fits with the character ... background that seem older concerning their position on the each parties of Society.

Confusion can spur into mind if you do not follow the season through to the end. Develpement of the characters is nice and every episode relates to the plot. The ending was just perfect, took my breath away. I enjoyed this anime very thouroughly.

This anime caught my eye because it looked like a magical mech anime. My experience with this kind of anime is that it can either be very good or very bad. To my pleasant surprise although it is not the best magical mech anime Ive seen this anime actually has quite a bit to offer.

The story is very intriguing because it has many aspects to it from different dimensions to contracts with demons to our main main character who has enough girls that cause him trouble in his life. I felt that all the episodes were very purposeful and were needed to fully understand ... what was happening in the anime. I found the progression of the story was done very well and there were no parts of the story where it was dull. Overall the story was very good although it did seem alot to take in a times.

The art was one of the things that stood out in the anime. The animation overall was easy on the eyes and the mech designs were actually very entertaining to watch despite having a 3d design. The effects were a visual treat that brought spice to mech battles.

What stood out to me the most in this anime is the characters. Baseline they are already hard to forget because they all have their unique personality and contribution to the story. Character progression was what I was impressed with in this anime. The more challenges the each character faces the deeper the connection they make with the viewer and this happens as the anime progresses. The characters help the viewer understand the story better which i think is a brilliant effect.

Overall this anime is a very good watch and has much to offer. The twists and turns make all the more exciting and entertaining.

Caution; I have seen every episode & I believe all of the second one, so there may be some spoilers... (reading over my review there actually isn't, so read on!)

Story; 8
The story starts off fairly interesting, grabbing your attention and having you ask yourself "who is that girl?" "what happened to that kid?" The story line then progresses on, telling you about the main characters life and those around him. Honestly they had the ability and the resources to make the story line so much better, but all the same, it was still good.

Art; 7
The art & animation, to me, looks like every other anime ... made in this era. Could've been a little better but what can you expect, its what? 2009?

Sound; 8
Only because I really don't know all that much about what goes in to rating the "sound" portion of the anime, as I can't understand any of it without reading subtitles, heh.

Character; 9
The characters, in my opinion, were great. They're still not a ten / ten , but they're still not terrible. The beginning episode had you questioning pretty much everyone's backstory, and I for one, love when they do this. I love wanting to watch every episode ever made all in one day, and that's exactly what I did.

Enjoyment; 9
This being one of my first actual finished anime series, aside from deathnote, I really loved it. I tell all my friends that are fond of these types of anime to watch it. I don't like watching any of the real popular ones like "Attack on Titan" and "Soul Eater" or anything else my friends all watch because, well, I like having a show all to myself that exclusively only I know about.

This is one of my first and favorite anime series, and I couldn't have picked a better one. Thanks to this website and the recommendations tab, I've found four other anime's a lot like this that I love all the same. Overall this anime had me yelling at my computer and TV, and out searching for the manga in barnes & noble the next time I went. I hope my review is okay, considering I've never done this type of thing, but even if it's completely terrible I hope you can get one thing out of it, how great this anime is in my eyes.
