I usually prefer characters who aren't ultimate cucks around women, so some anime featuring cuck MC's are present in the list, but the cuck level is low/bearable enough or the rest of the anime is entertaining enough to sit through MC's cucky shenanigans (cuckanigans?).. viewer discretion is advised.

Anime that are edgy and bad

Sometimes we crave for darker themes, shows delivering more philosophical idea or heartbreaking scenes (or both). Dystopian worlds create an excellent chance to have excellent tragedies; love, friendships, adventures while the world is falling and crumbling apart around us.

For this list I've compiled shows that I've watched to deliver on this, some more somber and some more light-hearted. Sci-fi, alternate history or slightly psychedelic, this list has it all.

These are all exceptional, unique, and interesting to all fantasy anime watchers.

I included only my top 10 fantasy Isekai, since I already made an Isekai-only stack.

I highly recommend you watch all other seasons/movies from the series listed.

They are arranged in order from my personal favourites.

Extra notes:
* Yugioh season 0 is very underrated and is not just about the card game 'Duel Monsters'.
* Berserk movies are the best adaptation of the manga.
* Both old and new Hunter x Hunter are amazing, and each has a different style/tone.
* Claymore is a great dark fantasy show similar to Berserk.

These are anime with the most intense fights, duels, explosions, and amazingly choreographed battles.

For most of these I recommend also watching all other seasons/movies from that series.
