Maria Watches Over Us is taking place at a prestigious all-girls Catholic school in Tokyo, where students are offered to be the soeur - "sisters" of the older students and guide them during their years at the academy. Watayuri is a melodrama taking place at the world of "Café Liebe", a theme café set as a prestigous all-girls high school with Yuri vibes. So Yuri is My Job is the latest in the Girls-Love series which has a kind of similar setting to Maria Watches Over Us, which is the older series that takes place at a catholic school while in WataYuri, characters aren't actually at  read more

They're both CGDCT + romance animes centered around working in a cafe where the cafe has some theme and the girls have to play some sort of role.

They are both Romance and Girls Love animes. The theme/school which Cafe Liebe takes inspiration from is very similar to the actual school in Strawberry Panic. Strawberry Panic is mostly focused on the romance between its female lead and her female upperclassman. Strawberry Panic is 26 episodes long. It has quite a bit of drama, great animation, and is produced by the highly acclaimed studio, Madhouse. Strawberry Panic is a classic, and is one of the best Girls Love Romance anime out there.

"Yuri is my job" is about highschool girls acting their ages in a cafe shop, pretending to be besty rivals and learning when or when not to put on a facade emotion both publicly and behind the scene in their private life. Just like a reality show where the actors/ actresses have to decide which one is their real soulmate at the end with public coments affecting the direction of the show. If you like this kind of physological conflicits, you should also watch Oshi No Ko, apart from having a similar reality show arc that also blur the line between reality and acting, the characters  read more

They're both animes centered around a cafe where a reluctant MC gets dragged into working in it. A lot of the characters are straight up unlikeable at first and cause too much drama but they eventually show more depth and they get better.

Adachi to Shimamura and Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu are Yuri anime. The feeling I get is a nostalgic one; a feeling of longing and melancholy. Watching these anime let me re-live the ideality of romantic scenarios, and to escape the realities/business of everyday life. Both AdaShima and Yuri wa Oshigoto are niche anime. And it happens that the niche they fall in are the same one. No other anime has made me feel the same way as AdaShima, until I watched Yuri wa Oshigoto.
