Yoru wa Neko to Issho

yoru wa neko to issho, aka nights with a cat, is a short form slice of life anime. there's really not a lot to say about it. mc gets a cat, and each ~2:30 mins episode includes something different that happens with said cat. if you have a cat (which i do not) then i'm sure there will be many moments of, "my cat does that too!" for you. the moments with the mc and his cat goes by too quickly to really give a full review. the actual content is only around one minute long, since the rest of it is just the ending ... song. the art is very cute and stylized and is basically the only thing that stuck out to me. the ed is fine, and the story is nonexistent.

so yeah, if you're interested in a basic, highly stylized anime about a guy with a cat that's only about 1 minute long, then i'd say watch it. other than that, i guess you might also want to watch it just to say you watched it. i mean, you'll fly through it pretty quickly.

but if you're looking for anything other than those two things (which most people are), i can't say i would recommend this. thanks for reading and have a nice day.

The story is about a cat and a man that is living in 1 house. Most of the episode is just telling us about the cat's interaction with the household.

Art (7)
The art of this anime is good. I like the simplicity but the eyes look very big. I don't know the difference whether when they are waking up or sleep. But I prefer if they have a good animation in their ending animation. They are still using a lot of static image rather than animation.

Sound (7)
All the sounds they used are good and adjusted to the ... animation.

Character (7)
The main character is memorable along with the supporter. I remember the cat and MC but it can be easily forgotten.

Enjoyment (6)
It's quite enjoyable to watch this movie in 2023.
