Binghuo Mochu

Nian Bing is the son of a fire mage and an ice mage. After both of his parents were killed by the Ice Lord, Nian Bing received both of his parents' magic gems. When Nian Bing was trying to escape from the Ice Lord's followers, he managed to cast both fire and ice magic at the same time. An impossible feat for a mage. He fell from the cliff, unconscious, and was saved by an oldman. After he woke up, the oldman gave him a food so delicious he never tasted before. It turned out that the oldman was a genius chef, once called a spirit chef. And he wants Nian Bing to be his disciple no matter what! Is Nian Bing able to seek vengeance while aiming to become the greatest chef?

Wicked idea for anime first off the music is epic as a opening the story gets u straight into it the more u watch the more u like it the main character Nian Bing is first of all a magic user of fire then as the story progress he can use most elements but makes him different is his main job is a chef he was found by the demon chef after a battle at the ice kingdom the chef took him as his apprentice as he could do something he couldt do that is rare magic cooking takes a few episodes forhim to get ... into it as the demon chef worked him hard but durig this time he mets a fiery girl cool dialogue with them before she has to leave i will leave it at that for now if u liked this quick review check it out

Mixed Feelings

The Magic Chef of Ice and Fire begins as a classic revenge story with a less interesting twist: protagonist Nian Bing who escapes the clutches of a villain at the sacrifice of his parents takes guidance under the renowned Demon Chef, after realizing mutual advantage in how to combine elements to create dishes that Perfection might as well get him more used to elemental magic. It sets up a dichotomy where Nian Bing promises his master chef to travel the lands and become a respectable chef, while escaping from being hunted by the villain that was after his life in the first place. With a ... plot that I think is less interesting and the writer (the same person who wrote Soul Land and Throne of Seal), unfortunately the story is similar to Soul Land with the evil queen. I mean, he's cool, but instead of the main villain guy, (and more in season two), each one is more annoying than the last. I'm tired of seeing the story of the evil queen. And like soul land, it's clear each of the protagonists will never grow out of their habit of being trampled on by every facet of character they encounter.
This show is a poor example of a good plot and huge potential being devoured by the worst character imaginable (the queen of worst characters) -- a character who didn't learn their lesson, and still hasn't learned it in season 2's coming.

This is the worst of Tang Jia San Shao's stories that I have seen thus far.

I have seen Douluo Dalu 1 & 2, Throne of Seal, and this.

This is not only the worst, it isn't even CLOSE in terms of quality.

The fights are long, boring, lots of nonsense animation where nothing happens, just flashy lights. The main character is a moron, and constantly does stupid crap to allow bad things to happen to him, instead of just making the bad guys competent.

How this even has the same author I will never understand.

Do NOT think this is representative of the other works. Douluo Dalu and Throne ... of Seal are awesome, even amazing at times... but this? This is trash.
